In the Crystal Hotel, our two couples, Abhi and Naina, Daksh and Sonakshi, are having a party, and the scene starts with them dancing. It soon comes to an end, and they
go home. Abhi and Naina reach earlier, and Naina is alone in her room, with her mother, and thinks about the evening, and Anjali knows what she is going through. Naina does not want to admit her true feelings, as she is confused and separates, friendship from marriage. For her marriage is something which people go through as a means of survival, and she has opted to the first proposal, lacking any guidance or experience. On the other hand she values her friendship with Daksh, and puts it in a separate compartment, and does not feel that it causes some agony to Abhi, as she is not a good judge of human emotions or the reactions, but claims that she has the sixth sense to know what others are going through. This dichotomy in her personality is the cause of most of her suffering. - She suddenly wakes up from her reverie as she hears Daksh and Sonakshi arrive. She watches them, and ruefully admires Daksh. Daksh wishes Sonakshi good night, and she takes her car and goes home, and Daksh enters the house.
Daksh knocks on Naina's room, while she is asleep with her mother and she goes and opens the door and sees Daksh, who wants her to come out with him. He takes her for a drive, and when he has reached a romantic spot, parks his car. Tells her to come out. He then tells her she would not like to see the ugly side of K.P. She smiles and comes out. They sit and chat for a time, and sip coffee together. Naina tells him, that she will never be able to forget him, and Daksh looks at her lovingly. They drive back to their house, and wait for the next day,.
Early in the morning, Naina and Akruti go to meet Ayush, and before she can say anything, Ayush apologizes, and promises to make up. Naina wants to know when he
is going to marry her, and Akruti tells her that since the bitterness is over, she wants to give me ten more days, to settle down. Naina warns him, that even if she leaves Mumbai, she can still keep a watch over Akruti from Nashik, and he should be aware of that. He says it is o.k. Naina has to get ready for the Haldi ceremony, and she leaves. As Akruti tries to get up, Ayush holds her hand and forces the bargain out of her mouth. He tells her, that he has kept his part of the bargain, and now she has to come home and confess. He asks her to repeat what she has to say. She says, "I was at fault, and was after his money and riches. He was a nice man, and did not do anything wrong." - But one can see a streak of anger in her, and no one can say, what she may be up to, but Ayush feels he has won the day, and walks off.
In the house, Anjali has been anxiously watching Naina, and she goes through the motions, and there is no excitement in her eyes, and nothing she does, gives he impression that she is looking forward to great happiness. But when Daksh is around her, she suddenly changes, and her mother notices this difference, and just can not figure out, how she can change the outcome. She knows, that Daksh is the boy, she should marry, but Naina is a stubborn girl. All are preparing things needed for the Haldi ceremony, which is conducted a day before the wedding, when the ladies apply a paste of haldi (turmeric) and other ingredients, and Ayee tells her that she will look fair and pretty. Daksh notices something stuck in her hair, and comes forward to remove it, and Anjali again notices the warmth in his eyes and the love which exudes in his actions. Abhi on the other hand, is more engrossed in the way Naina appears to him. Shyamal calls Akruti and asks Naina to put some Haldi on her too, and Naina gently pats a little paste on her cheeks, and Akruti aware of what Naina knows, goes to do her work, quietly.
In Mr. Joshi's house, his wife, Supriya, whose name has not yet been announced, is dressing up, for the party, not knowing who the bride is - but she knows she belongs to the family where her daughter is engaged to be married. Sonakshi comes behind her and hugs her, and she too is decked up. She asks her how she felt, when her Dad proposed to her, but she is quiet about it. - Who knows what the circumstances were, as both husband and wife, are a bit wary about their past. They get ready and come over to the Patwardan House.
As the day's episode comes to a close, the Joshi family are at the door, and ring the bell. She hears from inside, a familiar voice, calling out for Naina, and she replies, "Coming Mama" - when Supriya hears the last words, she feels she has heard the voice before, in the Frame Shop, of the girl, who came to pick Diwakar's photo, and she introduced herself as his daughter. The guests are invited in, and Supriya gets a glimpse of Anjali, and gets self conscious. Had she not seen her before, and was she not Diwakar's wife?
