Aanya can't believe what she has heard. She cries and even visualises herself bald. GD assumes and is convinced that Raghu is merely doing it to scare her and teach her a lesson. He tells the same to Janki. Chotu hears and tells it to Bhola who in turn tells it to Esha.

Esha is upset that Aanya will not go bald. But she scares her more by saying that the panachyat will also blacken her face and put her on a donkey taking her around the whole village.

Aanya feels there is something fishy and threatens Bhola to say the truth. At the panchayat, Aanya enters fearlessly knowing that Raghu is only pulling her leg. But Raghu stands up with the scissors and approaches her.
