But what I dont get is, why should people quit doing movies just because they have reached a certain age? Do the women in the world who are over 30-35 not have a life anymore? Women dont die after reaching their 40s, there is a plethora of roles and characters that they fulfill in real real life so why cant they do that onscreen?

The ridiculous thing about bollywood is that if you're not a 20 something barbie doll, then you just gotta step down from being a mainstream actress.
