expired meds...

this is absurd!!!! so the tylenol or aspirin equiv drug was expired. At most the efficacy of the medication has gone down, but definitely it will not poison a person to death.

expired meds dont really kill. they just intensify in their power and drain in power. if they intensify the worst they can do is damage the liver. if they drain then it takes longer for the meds to react and decrease the pain. the doctor is weird.

the last 5 mins just killed me! now Ahem thinks Gopi sucks again.

Totally agree...expired medicine don't kill...or at least not if the expiration is only a few months, as it still said 2011. I understand if it was 10-20years old maybe...but few months or even a year...nah...

However, the point that you shouldn't give medicine if you don't know how to read is absolutely true by the doctor. Ask someone. I agree he was stupid for saying that it can kill if its expired. But the fact that Gopi gave medicine without knowing what it was. She says she knows the look of pills from when she was a child. Doesn't work that way lady. Many pills look similar. Secondly, Mani is also at fault. The box fell and instead of asking Hetal again which one she wanted to throw out, she guessed. Wrong. Both situations, fine they don't know how to read, but y play the guessing game on something like medicine.

Totally agree that expired medicines don't often kill. In fact it is well known that pharmaceutical companies print an expiry earlier than necessary so that more medicines are bought.

Depending on what kind of medicine they won't kill if expired however it's not just Gopi's fault because Mani messed up the boxes to begin with. Also though Gopi shouldn't give pills based on how they look the doctor shouldn't have exaggerated as much as they did I mean, Mani fainted, her heart didn't stop and she didn't start having an epileptic fit or anything. Ahem wow, I don't even want to know what he's going to do to Gopi this time, hopefully the truth comes out in front of everyone and he is forced to apologise

I don't mind if Aham yells and embarrasses Gopi and she does a rhona dhona act, as long as I'm finally going to see Gopi get educated, I don't care how many tears she sheds to realise she needs to educate herself.
