Next morning

Both were peacefully sleeping.Geet's head was on his chest and his arms were protectively wrapped around her waist.Maan slowly opened his eyes and saw her face was very close to his.He admired her for sometime and then remembered the night before.Tears came in his eyes he was not even married for a day and today he was going to give divorce to his wife.He kept her head properly on the pillow and went to get ready.After sometime he came out and saw that geet was sitting on the bed and rubbing her eyes.

Maan:good morning

Geet:hum kab jaa rahe hai

Maan:kaha

Geet:divorce papers sign karne

Maan was very shocked and hurt hearing her words

Geet:boliye na

Maan:ek baje

Geet:theek hai

Geet went inside to get ready while maan went downstairs.Mr khurana ,mrs khurana and dadi were sitting on the couch

Mr.khurana:aaj itni jaldi uth gaye raat ko soye nahi kya

Maan:nahi dad aisa kuch nahi hai

Mrs.khurana:geet kaha hai

Maan:mom wo ready ho rahi hai

Mrs.khurana:theek hai

Geet came down after sometime and was looking very beautiful.She took blessings from all

Mrs.khurana:geet aaj tumhara ghar main pehla din hai toh tumhe kuch meetha banana parega

Geet:ji aunty

Mrs.khurana:tum mujhe aunty kyu bula rahi ho

Geet:toh kya bulau

Mrs.khurana:tum iss ghar ki bahu ho kam beti jyaada ho toh ab se tum mujhe mama bulogi samji

Geet was feeling very bad for them.Here they are talking so nicely to her with love and affection and today she was going to leave

Geet:ji aunty mera matlab hai mama

Geet went to the kitchen to prepare some sweet while mrs.khurana also went inside to help her.After sometime the breakfast was ready and everyone settled on the dinning table.Geet served everyone and settled next to maan.Everyone liked the food praised her.As they finished the breakfast maan stood up to go to office

Mr.khurana:kaha jaa rahe ho maan

Maan:dad office jana hai

Dadi:kya

Maan:haan dadi bohut kaam baaki hai

Mr.khurana:tum kahi nahi jaa rahe ho kal hi tumhari shaadi hui hai aur tum office jaane ki baat kar rahe ho

Maan:par dad

Mr.khurana:tum kuch din tak office nahi jaa rahe ho samjhe tum

Maan:ok dad

Maan went inside his study and started working on his laptop.It was almost twelve thirty when geet came to his study

Geet:maan

Maan:hmmm

Geet:chaliye

Maan:kaha

Geet:divorce office

Maan was again very hurt to hear this

Geet:chaliye na

Maan:mujhe nahi pata tha ki tum mujh se itni nafrat karti ho ki jald se jald divorce maang rahi ho

Geet:maan mera matlab wo'.

Maan:mujhe pata hai ki tum yaha se jaldi jaana chahti ho itni jaldi ki tum mujhe ek pal bhi nahi bardasht kar sakti ho

Geet:aisa nahi hai

Maan:chalo ab

Geet was feeling very sad for him and inside she was feeling guilty.They left for the office and none of them spoke a single word throughout the journey.They reached and was greeted by the officer.They started discussing few things

Officer:aapki shaadi ko kitne months ho gaye hai

Maan:ek din

Officer:kya

Maan:haan humari shaadi kal hui hai

Officer:I am sorry par yeh divorce nahi ho sakta hai

Both were shocked listening to this

Maan:par kyu

Officer:humare bhi kuch rules hote hai aapka divorce tab tak nahi ho jaata jab tak aap ki shaadi ko at least six months ya ek saal nahi hota

Geet:aur koi raasta nahi hai

Officer:nahi lekin aapke divorce abhi nahi ho sakta

Maan:theek hai

Both left the office thinking what to do next.Maan was feeling very guilty for shouting at geet
