Daksh and Naina go to meet Sonakshi, in a restaurant, were the bubbly girl, initiates the
conversation and tells Naina, that her boyfriend is a straight faced grumpy man. Naina wants to tell her, but Daksh intervenes, and tells her that Naina is his good friend, and Sonakshi tells that her name is Naina, and wants her to confirm it, and then she invites all to sit and have coffee. Daksh takes out Sonakshi's mobile from his pocket, and wants to get back his, from her. Sonakshi wants to hit on a conversation and asks Naina, if Daksh is always quiet like this, as she is fond of talking, and Naina is about to tell her something, but before that, Daksh interrupts, and says, that they have to leave. Daksh tells her that they have to prepare for the wedding, and Sonakshi tells them that she loves weddings, and asks whose wedding it is, Naina says, "Mine." Sonakshi asks Naina, if she is getting married to Daksh, but she says no, and Daksh adds, that she is getting married to his cousin, and Sonakshi is happy, that he will be an eligible bachelor. They exchange the mobiles. Naina shows her class by wishing her, "Bye Sonakshi" but she does not reply to her, but instead, says, "Bye Daksh" and he grunts and leaves with Naina.
At home, the ladies, with the bridegroom to be are going through the different things needed for the wedding, and Abhi wants to speak about Sangeet, and Akruti comes in and he wants to involve her, but she is buried in her own thoughts, and smiles vaguely
and Abhi. Anjali is a little hesitant, as she does not know the customs and traditions of the Maharashtrian wedding, so asks Vibha to guide her, but her elder sister walks in with her son, and tells her a bit pompously, that she need not worry, as she has done the needful, and hands over a list of paper, with the things she has to do on her side. Minoo tries to show her good side, and tells Anjali, that being her only, son, she wants everything to go smooth. Anjali too tells her that she too has only one daughter, and Minoo's face changes. In the meantime, Daksh arrives home, with Naina in his car, and before getting out she tells him that Sonakshi likes him, and it is her sixth sense which only girls possess, which tells her so. Daksh tells her that it is all nonsense. Naina tells him, that she knows that he loves a girl, but she has someone else in her life, so he should start afresh. Naina tells him, that he will have to forget her, but he says, "No one can forget a girl like that" Naina tells him in a weeks time, she will have to leave with Abhi, and that will leave him alone, but he tells her that relationships may change, but friendship can remain, and they promise to keep in touch with each other.
They enter the house, and Abhi opens the door, with a wide brimming invitation, "Come in, come in" and leads them to the ladies, waiting to meet them. and they enter the house. Naina sits on the sofa, and Anjali tells her that she took a long time, and bought the sarees, and they do not have much time left. Naina nods. Minoo ticks off her list, of things to do, and then asks Vibha who is handling the bridegroom's clothes, and she tells him, Chintu will handle it. Now Minoo takes up the printing of invitation cards, and wants to write the names of her parents, and so she asks what her father's name is, and Naina takes a moment, and tells her, "Diwakar Bardhwaj." She writes it down, and says, "Fine. And now, what is your mother's name?" Anjali stares at her, thinking that it is an odd question, when she already knows her name, and then the camera focuses on the others, and wait what the answer is. Since no one replies, Minoo asks again, "Naina, your mother's name?" and she says in reply, "Anjali." Anjali smiles at her in approval, but Minoo is confused, as she was introduced to her as her guardian, but she writes it any way, saying: "Good". But now our liar Abhi is confused, and looks lost.
When they are alone, Minoo tells Abhi that she does not like to write the name of the guardian, in the place of her mother, and Anjali tells Naina that she felt that writing her name on the card was not acceptable to Minoo. Anjali asks Naina, why she did not tell them that her mother's name was Supria. Naina is under the impression, that Minoo and Abhi know the truth, and tells as much to Anjali, and then insists that she wants only Anjali to take the mother's place in the card. Abhi too persuades his mother, that since Anjali looked after the child from the beginning, she has the full right to be called the mother, as he deliberately hides the truth from his own mother.
Daksh is in his room, and Sonakshi can not sit quiet and starts to pick a conversation with him on the mobile, and realizes that he is formal, and so, she too tries to be so, but the bubble has to burst, and Daksh tells her that he has no time for her, and he is too busy, and cuts of the phone call abruptly, and that shocks Sonakshi, into the real world.
In the office, Naina is alone handling her clients, and Akruti walks in and takes her seat
quietly and starts her work, and Naina seeing her state of mind, walks to her and gently inquires about her, and whether she is taking care of her diet. She places an envelope on her table, and keeps her palm on her should and kindly continues to inquire about whether Ayush's mother has come back from the hospital. Akruti asks, what is there in the envelope, and Naina tells her that she had been to Mrs Deshpande, and she was praising her work, and said that after the engagement, she was looking for her, but she had already left. So Naina tells her to pin the photograph, on the notice board. Seeing Akruti very tense, Naina asks her if she is feeling well, and Akruti's face appears as if she has seen a ghost
Naina gets a call from Mrs. Deshpande, who tells her that her son in law's name is Ayush, and she tells her that she too knows a person by that name, and in the meantime, Akruti has opened the envelope seen the picture and hidden it in a file, with tears flowing down her cheeks. Seeing Akruti is hiding something from her, she asks her for Mrs. Deshpande's photographs, and then searches through her file, and finds the hidden envelope and opens it, in spite of Akruti attempting to snatch it from her hands, and when she sees in side, she too is in a shock. Seeing the situation, Naina takes the matter in her own hands and will not allow Ayush to betray her, and she says, "No Way" - she wants to meet Mansi. while Akruti is in tears.
Naina goes to meet Mansi and explains to her everything in detail, of what has transpired up till now, but she does not want to believe her and tells Naina to get out of her room. Naina asks her to give one chance and see if what she has told him is true or not, and so they plan to invite Ayush to see the Sherwani, and to come for a trial. He falls in the trap, and goes to the place, where Naina has spread a trap for him. The girl in the shop, leaves him alone, and takes a clothing piece and goes away, leaving Ayush alone. Just
then some one calls him, and then he sees on the table a phone, and some pictures under it. He goes close and picks the photos, and they are of him with Akruti. and as he is trying to figure out what is happening, Akruti steps slowly towards him. He raises his head, and see Akruti and gets very angry, and tells her he has no time for girls like her, and tears the photos and throws them on the ground. Akruti rushes to Ayush and tells him that she loves him very much, and he tells her that she wants to trap him and so called him here. He abuses her and says, that girls do not have right to misbehave, but as a boy, he can do what he wants, and there is nothing she can do about it. All the time, Naina and Mansi are watching him, and Mansi gets a shock of her life, and how Naina has saved her from life;s worst blunder. As Ayush is in top gear, the other two girls enter, and Ayush gets a slap on his face from his 'bride' to be for keeping her in the dark, and throws his ring to his face, and Naina too adds her bit, and tells him all that she had kept pent up within her. She tells him he will have to pay for his misdeed,s and not to hide under the impression, as being a boy he has no responsibilities.
