Mausam should be released in a month with no big releases to compete with it - new Director, two actors with almost zero box-office pull and a unconventional, niche overall appeal. The other two movies have stars who can bring in the crowds for the opening and if the movies are engaging, they can sustain from there on.

MBKD too may shift..Salman and Eid is a double dhamaka..Bodyguard releases a week before.Given Salman's power today...He will keep the best and majority of the shows in the second week too...and no one can refuse him...

MBKD has better chance releasing with Mausam..

BB.. internet buzz and box-office performance are sometimes lightyears apart. Most people who actively frequent internet movie forums do not watch movies in the theaters and people who go to see movies do not use internet as their guide. Didn't you see that with "Ready".. it was torn apart by everyone on the web but look at where it is today? But, Sonam and Shahid have almost no box-office power and that means the movie has to sstain completely on word-of-mouth, which in these days is hard to do. Even Dhobi Ghat with Aamir didn't do well.

@Relda... lots of people are looking forward to Mausam because there hasnt been a true love story in so long! Mausam is really creating buzz on the internet with its stills and posters soon when the trailer comes out it will be even more popular!

shahid-sonam may not have "box office power" but im sure this movie will be a success! im sure pankaj kapoor has created a masterpiece with Mausam and it will be appreciated! hey maybe shahid-sonam will gain "box office power" after this... you gotta start somewhere!

Clash or no clash, Rockstar will chew MBKD and spit it out. Imtiaz (barring LAK) is a very capable director and Ranbir is one of the very few decent bollywood actors thats also a star...

I look forward to all three.. but the only one I will be watching in the cinema if I get a chance to is Mausam! (:
