Written Update 22nd June 2011

Its night and Mahen is teaching Laxmi English. She is learning to say ink pot. Kaveri walks in and asks Laxmi to drink milk as its good for her memory. She lovingly scolds Laxmi that at night she studies and during the day she does the house work. She should look after herself like she looks after everyone else. Laxmi says i don't look after other look how I hurt Parag. Kaveri says that isn't your fault as Jenny made you promise and you are a human so you were being tested and when you felt the time was right you told Parag the truth. Mahen writes on the board Parag wrong, Laxmi Jenny right. He explains that he knows why Jenny made Laxmi promise & why Laxmi kept it. Kaveri tells Laxmi that when she goes to the market in the morning to see her first she then leaves.

Shobna shows some photos of girls to Vijay and says which one do you like. (😲Shameless... now I understand why he's still married to her🤣) Vijay tells her that he's worried about Parag that he doesn't want to do this. Shobna replies when are you not worried about your nephews, she quickly says what I meant is I understand your upset about what happened to Jenny, all we can do is pray for her but we need to think about Angad's wedding as he is getting older. (hehe achaa so the women are for Angad 😃) Vijay says Angad is not a child and we are not selecting clothes that we can get them without his permission. (Loved that line👏… I hate it when they show parents selecting a girl and automatically think there son will be happy😡… he lived in NZ for so long his tastes may have changed and he could also already have a girlfriend😳… if she's like Jenny, Shobna will have a heart attack😆... now I want a Jenny no.2😛) Vijay says he's scared that the bad things that are happening in the house might affect them to. Shobna says all I want is a good wife for Angad, nothing more. Vijay says fine, let him arrive and then we'll ask him about it, if he is happy I am happy.

It's morning, Kaveri is cooking, she gives Laxmi a shopping list saying Angad's coming today and when he arrives he will ask me for this and that. She smiles whilst saying it.

Suraj is outside the house and Laxmi sees him as she is about to leave. Laxmi asks why he is standing outside. Suraj says he always comes and then leaves again. Laxmi tells him to come inside, Suraj declines and says not today, I will come home but only when I'm worthy of coming home, I will come when I make mum and dad proud and when everyone will be happy to see me. He says I don't know if that day will ever come. He says his film has started. Laxmi smiles and says so it won't be long before you enter the house rather than stand outside it. Suraj replies I hope so and asks about dad's condition. Laxmi says it's still the same but the doctor says he will improve. He asks about everyone else and Laxmi tells him Angad is coming. Suraj gets excited and says we were such good friends we had such good times when we were kids, we were mischievous. (Everyone is so excited🤔… I'm getting excited too now😆…When is he coming…My expectations are mega high😃) Suraj continues I wish we were still kids, because as we got older we changed. He says to forget this, by talking things won't change and tells her he will get in touch when his film is completed.

Tej is on the phone, he's concerned as he's in a 4 grand gambling debt, he says I don't have the money. The man threatens him to get the money and cuts the phone. Minny comes in and Tej changes his tone, he pretends his friend's father is ill and his friend needs 4 grand for his father operation. Minny gets worried. Tej continues saying if he was in Hydrabad he would have given the money but he is here, but not to worry as he will somehow arrange the money. (He apparently owns his own business😕….where does all his profit go🤔 under the floorboards of his house that he has to go to Hydrabad to get it... Please please please Minny question him!!) He puts the phone down and turns. He sees Minny and says when did you get here. She ask him who was on the phone, he says no one important. Minny asks again and he tells her his friend was on the phone asking for money for his father's operation. Minny praises his good intentions. (😒So dissapointed) She tells him not to worry as she will ask her dad. Tej gets worried as Vijay might ask too many questions and says I don't want you to ask dad as he will have to ask Laxmi. Minny says I will ask Laxmi as I have a right on the money to. She tells him to stop worrying. He tells her she's very good as she wants to save his friend's father and to hurry and get the money. She runs off. (wow the woman is seriously gullible🤓… as much as I dislike her she doesn't deserve to be married to this creep) Tej smiles and talks to himself and says I should have asked for more money.

Ba is in the kitchen telling a servant off for not doing her job properly as she wants the dough perfect fro Angad's arrival (😲everyone seems to be cooking for him... hows he going to eat all the food... At this rate the are going to have to change the actor after he has had his meal). Dada laughs as the woman is doing the job properly and Ba realises this. Laxmi is watching and Ba tells her to stop watching and instead hurry up and help in the kitchen. Laxmi is in the bedroom and Minny arrives asking for 4 grand. She pulls her phone out and looks uninterested in talking to Laxmi. Laxmi asks why. Minny says for Tej's friend and I don't need to tell you any more detail. Laxmi says I can't give it you without an explanation I need to think about it first. (😡If she talked any person like that... I'm sure no one would give her the money😡) Minny gets angry and says I know you have the power of attorney but i have a right on the money to. Laxmi says I understand you have a right but, Minny cuts her off and says what do you want, shall I talk to dad. Tej is listening and says her brain works like a computer, why does she keep saying she wants to tell dad. He walks up to Minny and tells her to calm down. He says why are you going to tell dad, Minny says she refused. Tej says she didn't refuse she said she wanted time to think and she should. Laxmi looks at Tej who stares back.

Minny walks off. Tej talks to Laxmi saying why do over analyse everything. You think I'm lying, well I am lying. Laxmi looks shocked. (🤢I wasn't surprised he lied… but I'm surprised Laxmi was surprised😲) He tells her his friend isn't in trouble he wants the money for himself. He says I will take the money, for now 4 grand is enough I will take more later on. He says you will have to give me the money. Laxmi says I won't give you any money. Tej looks at her and says you won't, if I want I could take the money right now but I will give you 14 hours, if you don't give me the money in 14 hours with respect then my name isn't Tejvir. He tells her to look after the money and walks off. Laxmi prays for courage to fight the bad things that are happening.

The family gather for dinner, Uttang gets excited that tomorrow Angad will be joining them. Kaveri agrees but wonders where Minny and Tej are. She shouts for them. Minny storms in and everyone wonders why she's upset, Ba makes a joke that she might have lost her make up. Kaveri asks where Tej is and to call him, Minny says to Ba I'm not hungry neither is Tej. Shobna asks what happened. Minny says we were insulted, when one's stomach is full with insults then there is no room for food. She says if my in laws insulted me like this I would leave the house. Shobna gets up and asks who insulted Tej, Kaveri also enquires. Minny says ask your sweet daughter in law Laxmi. Everyone looks shocked and looks at Laxmi. Shobna questions Laxmi. Minny says tells them why you refused Tej money. Vijay asks what money. Minny says Tej needed money urgently but Laxmi said no. Vijay says why didn't he ask me Minny says he didn't want to, he said he will somehow get the money. I was the one to say the family will help. I asked Laxmi for the money but she plainly refused me. Everyone looks shocked/confused. Dada says there must be some reason why, Minny retorts she was being stubborn and feeling powerful. She says Laxmi has the power of attorney but she has a right on the money too. Minny says she is worried that Tej will leave home and starts crying.(I hope he leaves but I'm not holding my breath😔) Vijay gets up and says why will he leave. Minny walks off and Vijay stares at Laxmi. (I love how no one asked what the money was for☢️🤢… that would be my first question... it's not like he's asking 4 20p but 4 grand😕...strange reaction from the family!! )

Precap: Tej says to Laxmi what you did was really wrong. Laxmi replies sometimes to support the truth you have to lie, I did what I though was right.
