It's a day of servings and rude awakenings. Prats serves Krishna her signed D-Document in his nightmare, unsettling him. Prats sends Krishna a serving of kheer and T/C excitedly serve it to him. KN serves the D-document to Prats, demanding her signature but Prats sends him empty-handed. Prats gets a rude awakenings about the state of her marriage after KN's visit to MMGJ. Viewers get a rude awakening when KN ignores Arusiđ˛.
Prats is reliving memories of a rainy night with Krishna on the terrace. "Pyar be karbo aur kinare kinare"âŚKrishna gets those classic and famous one-liners doesn't he? Aur kuch naya romantic scenes try karbo please! The same pulling away and running back to him is getting stale and too filmy.
Back at the Niwas Krishna is having a nightmare of Prats bursting into his bedroom with the divorce papers in hand. She glares at him "You've ended this relationship with your thumbprint on this document and now to free yourself from me you want my signature on the talaak papers. If this is what you want, then fine, I'm agreeable"đł. She flings the document on his face "There, I have signed these papers, now there is no relationship left between us. You wanted this, didn't you? You must be very happy, go rejoice". Krishna awakens confused until he notices the closed doors but is clearly disturbed by it. When is he going to grow up? He is a victim of his mother's emotional underhand games and he has fallen for it like a ton of bricks. Feeling as tortured as he is about the situation one would think he'd want to get Prats's side of the story and sort things out. But he'd rather let his ego rule.
Arusi is the voice of reason today, hoping to give Prats a wake up call. "Kheer ain't going to cut it with fixing the problems between you two sis, you gotta come up with another plan". Prats's defends her course of action "Krishna doesn't want to see me. He may not want to talk to me but at least he will remember me. If he continues to remember me like this then one day he will find his way back to me. However far away we are from each other we will still be connected by our memories. When he eats this kheer the old memories will return. So one should never underestimate the little things in life. For these little things resolve the big differences". Is she in Disneyland on vacation or whatđ? She is deluding herself. It's not that Krishna is enrolled in the army and away from home for a while? Does she not realize how far downhill things have progressed already? Is she really this nave that she doesn't already know how far SDS would go to poison Krishna's mind against her even further in her absence? Was the boulder that came down the hill at her the other day symbolic of the talaak papers coming her way? She has already let too much time pass allowing Krishna to be influenced by his mother since she walked out of the Niwas. Naina and Shamu have both told her to tell Krishna the truth asap so they can rebuild their marriage. One would think she'd at least attempt to connect and communicate with him instead she's been taking it easy vacationing at her maike and having a pity party. She fails to see the urgency to act, she is taking a rickshaw when she should be taking a flight back to see Krishna and get him to listen. before things get messier. It's not like she doesn't know how to get his attention.
Prats packs the kheer and hands it to her devars. She doesn't want Krishna to know she made itđ but she wants the devars to give her a feed back of his reaction after he tastes the kheer. She hopes it reminds him of their happier times together. The duo is off to feed their bhaiyya some garama garam kheer made with love by Prats. Is Prats serious? Little does she know that the kheer loving Krishna has affixed his thumbprint to call it quits with her.A pair of friends who'd do anything for their bhaiyya and bhabhima, how lucky is Krishna but he rarely appreciates them. Just as they leave KN arrives at the GH with a lawyer in tow.
True to character KN addresses Prats condescendingly and hollers out to Saxsena Saheb to get out to his living room. Shamu greets KN "Shakthi Beta?" WHHHAAT??!!!!?????đ˛! Since when?đArusi is parked right there yet Mr. Roving Eyes hasn't so much as glanced wifey # 2's way, is she's invisible today? She just might as well be a piece of upholstered furniture in the middle of the room. Is he the same guy who came with his gun-toting father to haul Arusi back to the Niwas not too long ago? Did Kesamma's arrival and loving attention rewire his brain? Are his days of drooling at Aghrooosia a thing of the past? Can a leopard change its spots? Can a zebra shed its stripes, can a camel lose a hump?
KN announces Krishna has dissolved his marriage with Prats, her John Hancock on the document is all they need to make it a done deal. He produces the talaak papers with Krishna's thumbprint. Shamu has his misgivings about it. KN is doing all the talking while his lawyer is hovering nervously behind him. When Shamu questions the authenticity of the thumbprint the lawyer affirms it is indeed Krishna's thumbprint and that his client seeks to get a divorce.
Shamu shudders and pleads with KN to make Krishna understand that this is not rightđ¤. Who would have thought that the same Shamu who refused to accept Krishna as a damadh would one day plead with KN of all people to show Krishna the difference between right and wrong! Who would have thought that the man who was "crazy" about Prats would just succumb to pressure from his mother, overriding his own disturbed feelings and affix his thumbprint on a piece of paper to end his marriage without a second thought to at least know Prats's side of the story for his own peace of mind. KN explains "Baba doesn't listen to his own Dad why will he listen to me his brother? He shows fake concern "I feel bad about all this but this is Baba's wish, what can I do? So get Prats's signature". What's Naina doing there, scaring everyone with her made-up Halloween eyes? She is becoming redundant in every scene she shows up and her reaction to the unfolding situation is unbelievable. Where are her expressions of shock, pareshaan and fear that are her normal reactions to any situations, Is she sedatedđ?
KN's fake concern would be believable to a stranger but not to Prats or the viewers who see through his faade. He tells Prats to snap out of the shock and shoves the document into her hand demanding she sign it asap. The sooner she signs and the lawyer files the papers in court, the faster she'll be free of Krishna. Prats doesn't like KN having a say in the state of her marriage. She replies defiantly "whatever happens I won't sign these papers". KN changes strategy and warns her "Don't get smart, stop the notanki and just sign this paper". Prats returns the D-Document back to him and dares him to continue his diraama for as long as he wants but her John Hancock on that paper is a no go.
KN threatens Prats to do as she is told or he could as easily chop her finger off and attest her thumbprint on the D-Document if his brain start to fryđ¤. Prats dares KN "try touching me and ask your lawyer to tell you the consequences for that". LALLANTOP Pratsđ! Shamu steps in and demands KN not to force Prats to sign it. Prats reminds KN "It's better you don't tell me what to do or not to do. You can't force me to sign these papers nor can anyone get proceed with my divorce against my will". The lawyer attempts to explain to KN that getting Prats to act under duress is not acceptable and could create problems. "Force" comes naturally to KN, it's a Takur trademark after all. He reminds Prats he is leaving on his lawyer's advice but he'll return to accomplish the task of getting Krishna a divorce from her. Dream on buster! Takurain series of surprises are coming her way soon. First Prats's rejection of the D-document, followed by a confession of her sins for Krishna to know and then the biggie from SS in the form of Lady Ganga. For all his macho talk KN leaves empty-handed after Prats's refusal to sign the papers. KN failed to accomplish his mission for NB. He is his mother's son, big talk, phailed plans every time they try to get Prats out of the picture.
Tunna and Chandu bring the kheer to the Adda where a miserable Krishna is lying on the cot deep in thought.đ Krishna agrees to taste it after Chandu lies that his Maa had made the kheer with lots of love. What don't these two buddies do for their bhaiyya? Krishna tastes it and is haunted by yet another memory of Prats making kheer just to appease him. He takes a second spoonful and tenses.
Prats tells her family "No one can ever break my relationship with Krishna. What ever Takurain is planning to do, I won't let her succeed in her plans. I am ready to do anything to bring Takurain's truth before Krishna. Shamu is pleased and nods his head in acquiescence". So what were you up to all these days, dear? Did you seriously think you were on vacation like you told the Dhobi lady you came to maike to chill for a few days? Even if you did, don't you think your timing is all off? It took the divorce papers for her to realize things have gone too far? She failed to act early on when Takurain spelled it out to her that she was out to destroy her marriage and even taunted her with a 4 day countdown. She failed to act at the first sign of trouble. She didn't want to hurt Krishna by tattling to him about his mother's sinister actions? That's ridiculous! Now she is going to force him to listen to her anyways, so what was the need to stall and pretend it wasn't happening? She's going to do it now that too after giving him a hand volley across his face? So why wait till the dam crests every time before she steps in and acts? Does she need a big kick in the back before she springs to action? Is it the thrill of the tension or do her hands itch to give a stinging slap across the face to someone once in a while?
