@BB: Thanks for the update! Today after reading this chapter I am really proud to be a fan of LTL1. Unlike other shows where there are bloopers galore the writers have remembered each and every incident related to Dutta's life and have tied the strings together so nicely with Damodar's story.
There is one missing piece of the puzzle though...why was NS quiet all the months after Dutta married Naku the first time and resurfaced only after Kala showed her true face?

Few more points to ponder...
-Dutta and Damodar both rescued and married would be victims of women trafficking though their reasons were different - love/revenge for Dutta and honor for Damodar.
-Perhaps the only positive point Damodar always had was his dislike for what he calls 'deh vyapar'.
-The writers have nicely explained the reasons why Damodar stayed away during Dutta's years as an underworld don. And also why he came back. He perhaps would have never revealed to Dutta about his existence if he had outlived NS. But since he knew Dutta would be fighting with an unknown enemy due to him he did not want Dutta to be disadvantaged after his death.
