Previous EpisodeNext EpisodeI can not but help in offering my sincere thanks to the cast and crew of Sapno Se Bhare Naina, for their wonderful creative performance in today's episode.
We start with Daksh coming back from his trip, and Abhi exuberantly patting his ego,

and making a self promotion of his gallantry in taking possession of his prize, a girl whom his own cousin had befriended, and has been known to be her 'best friend' too, While he is exhilarating himself, and making some talk to Daksh, he is flattened outright, as he sees his bride to be, forgetting herself, and come running to Daksh, brimming with joy, of seeing him once again, and hugging him tight in a warm embrace, and saying "I missed you so much, and was waiting for you. You should have never left." Abhi is stunned and feels let down, and says, "You have not said the same to me !" - or the gist of the conversation goes somewhat on that line.
Everyone in the house, is all excited and happy, except for Naina, who is brooding that she has not been able to tell her mother, Anjali. She had written a letter to Minoo, but it was intercepted by her son, and Naina still has her doubts, if she has been told the truth, but Abhi has assured her that all is fine, and with that in mind, she is prepared to take the step. She tries once to call home, and the maid picks the call, and tells her that her mother has left the town, and gone out of station, but does not tell where, and Naina tells her that she will get in touch with her later.

Daksh is trying to call someone, but the line is apparently switched off, and then he gives up the attempt. Perhaps, after hearing Naina's concern that she did not inform her mother, and that the Green Bangle ceremony was to be done by her mother, he might have been trying to call her, but she has already left Darjeeling, and has kept the phone off. We are also shown Mr. Joshi the lawyer, on the phone to someone, and he promises to get a good divorce lawyer, and then he calls Daksh Patwardan, on his mobile but a girl picks the call, and he wonders who that might be, as he seems to know the voice. It sounds familiar. The girl tells him to wait, and moves a little ahead, and Mr. Joshi hears a knock on the door, and his daughter enters, and rushes to him, and tells him, all about her trip to Darjeeling and how their telephones got mixed up. She is Sonakshi Joshi, the daughter of Mr.Joshi, the lawyer, who helped the Patwardans - the same mischievous Sonakshi Daksh met on the way to Darjeeling..
At home Minoo and Vibha discuss how to go about Naina's and Abhi's wedding.

Minoo informs her that in consultation with the pandit, she has been told about an auspicious day, coming soon, and when Vibha suggests that they have the Sakarpura on that day, Minoo suggests it would be better to have the wedding itself on that day.. As soon as Abhi hears that his mother has set the marriage date, he jumps for joy as a kid, as if he is getting a lolly pop, and asks Chintu to congratulate him.
Absurd silly chap. He has no idea of what a marriage means. The matter is thrashed in detail, and they find that for the function, it is necessary for the girl's side to be present, and Minoo suggests that they call her Guardian. Hearing this Naina is a bit perturbed, that there is something amiss. She has a nagging doubt that Abhi has kept her in the dark. Abhi has already told that he spoke to the Guardian, and she will be sending the gifts, and that should be sufficient, and his mother agrees. Naina again wonders how her mother could have done this, and whether Abhi is trying to bully his mother.
Vibha is emotional, and feels sad, and wants to do the mother's part herself, and searches for something to give to Naina, Vidhyadar also feels equally and gees and brings two gold bangles and tells his wife, "Naina come to our house as a paying guest, and in the course of her stay, showed that she was more of a daughter to us, by her actions, and so you are perfectly right, in presenting these bangles to her, and fulfilling the mother;s part."
Daksh in his golden kurta, and his shining spectacles, is a charming young man, who is deeply affected by what is happening around him. He sees a beautiful young girl, so sweet and innocent, charming in her looks, and in her behavior to all around her, slipping out of his hands. He must be feeling out of sorts, which is evident on his face. He is roaming around in the house in a daze, as he sees all actively getting ready to hand over this wonderful girl, to a carefree, rudderless and self promoting guy who does not feel a bit ashamed of hiding a vital truth from his own mother, and for what ? So that he does not lose his prized possession. He has bullied his mother, and told her that Naina's mother has sent her gifts, which will be coming shortly. He has telephoned the shop, to send these things quickly to the house, and is anxiously waiting before his mother can expose him.
Rohini is looking for a saree, to wear for the ceremony, and Sanket warns her to keep low, but he tells her that it is not only difficult to understand her, but also, she can not understand others. He tells her that any saree will be fine, as it all the ones in the ward robe, are good. Rohini bursts out with joy, that finally she can get rid of Naina, and in a week she will be out of the house.

Akruti, hiding her own hurt, comes to dress Naina, and decks her up in the best Maharashtrian attire, and she looks glorious and charming. Downstairs, all are waiting for the Bangle Ceremony, for which, Naina's mother should have been present. On Abhi's persuasion, she has accepted the second best, and contended herself with the gifts 'sent' by her 'mother'. Wow, how has she failed to see what type of a son she has brought up, who has no qualms in cheating his own mother? Minoo asks if the 'shagun' has arrived, and Abhi assures her that it will come soon. They are overwhelmed with joy, as they see the beautiful young girls decked in gorgeous sarees and jewelry, coming down the steps. The mothers must be thinking of them, as kids of the other day, suddenly shoot up, and become young women to join the ranks of the elders, taking the burden, of maintaining and promoting a progeny of their ancestors.

Just then, the bell on the main entrance rings, and all are happy and Abhi runs to the door, thinking it is his man. He opens the door...His jaw drops...He asks, "Who are you?" and we do not hear what he hears. But Naina is up, and smiling, instinctively guesses who it might be and she too runs, to the door, and sees the person standing outside, with her driver, with a tray of gifts, covered with a red cloth. The real "Shagun" from a real mother. Anjali Baradhwaj has arrived from Darjeeling, and is greeting by the family and she joins the ceremony. She does not interrupt their function, but when it is over she spends a quiet time with her daughter. She wants to make up for lost time.
Anjali, has changed, and now she loves this child whom she had not understood all these years. In the long time she was away, she had ample time to think of what she was missing. Once a happy woman in the park, with an adopted child, had told her the happiness of a mother who can not have her own, finding it in an adopted child who looks for love in her, whom she calls, Mother. Daksh is hovering nearby. Anjali had a close encounter with Daksh, and being a sharp woman herself, had noticed his qualities, and wanted him to be her son in law. But Naina had chosen some one else.
Preview ShotIn her room, alone with Naina she tells her daughter, "How is it you call Daksh you best friend, and not realized that he is in love with you?" - Naina is stunned at her mother's observation, and it dawns on her what she has missed, and gone unnoticed. Daksh is who has just entered with the shagun, drops his mobile and is almost at the verge of tears, as we see his forlorn self, lingering close by.
