Fight between Ratan and one ex contestant??

I missed the episode wherein the elimination of one guy(dunno his name) was quite ugly-he had asked back Ratan the gift he gave her -watch and in the end he said my foot.Can anyone tell me what it was all about???

"was quite ugly" 😆 You're right though, he had a horribly creepy smile! His name was Gaurav Jaggi.

Basically, when he first arrived in the show and met Ratan, he gifted a watch worth 1 lakh. In the episode before he was elminated, the other dulhe raised the point that there had been no reason to buy something so expensive for their first meeting. It looked like he was trying to impress her using his money.

In another episode, he'd said that he would have apllied for the Swayamwar this year no matter whose it was. And from what he said, it looked like he was only there because he wanted a reasonably free wedding, i.e. he seemed very money minded.

All of this made Ratan quite upset and she chose to eliminate Gaurav. Before he left they had a bit of a heated chat, and Ratan said "Aap yahan ek investment karne aaye the. You came to take a machine worth crores (referring to herself) in return for a watch worth 1 lakh." Then Gaurav said something like "This is against what I'd usually do, but I'd like to ask for my gift back, so that I can give it to someone that appreciates it." and Ratan replied with "Jo insaan apna diya hua gift waapis maang sakta hain, wo to mangalsutra bhi wappis le sakta hain." And so they argument just got more and more heated, and she angrily told him to leave.
