How signing contracts helps contestents?

We heard Hemu Nihira didn't sign zee tv contract.Vinit,debo,himani signed.vinit and himani are touring the world with HR.Did they sign any contract with HR?

In ii2 karunya didn't sign sony's contract(26 lakhs for 2 years).Monali signed Anumalik's contract.antara rejected his contract.amey not yet decided on sandeep chowtha's contract.

what are the advantages and disadvantages in signing 2 year contracts ? Post ur opinions.

well the disadvantages are that if you have signed a contract wid sony then you r stuck with it.....you are not independent....you career is not permanent....

and if you reject the contracts then you are free with your profession and your career is independent...

Well the disadvantages in signing any contract is that, the contestant will have to abide by the rules that they will only be able to perform for shows or sing for particular stage shows. They will not be allowed to do things as and when they please.


Secondly Sony too has a contract of One Crore Rupees for the winner, it is a contract where the winner will have to do stage shows, and the money that they earn back will be given to them. This will be done every three months. So over a period of 2 years the winner will receive One Crore. 😡


Karunya did not sign the contract which was worth for 27 Lakhs for a period of 2 years, b'cos he knows he will be tied down and not allowed to sing for other composers as Sony will deceide who he will sing for.


Amey, Antara and Meenal have not signed any contract b'cos they are doing a lot of stage shows, so if they sign any contract they will need to follow instructions. 😉


Advantages of signing a contract is if the person gives you a good break,then it is fine 👏 but now the music industry is going at a loss and none of the albums are really doing well. 😡 Hence all the other contestants who are getting offers to sign contracts,are looking into the terms and conditions very clearly b'cos no one wants to be tied down for 2 years. 🤢

if a person signs a contract theyll be well promoted by the parent company, but then u cant build on ur ambition. thats wat even abhijeet sawant said, taht nowadays hes tired of singing other singers sings in a show..
especially with the sony contact they just want the sontestants 2 be poster boys, whom they want 2 concentrate on shows as they bring in more moolah, although this is favourable 4 sony as shows bring in a lot of moolah, the contestants career takes a back seat after say 2 years, because 2 establish urself in thr music industry one has 2 concentrate on playback
