I missed Debojit's Fame 2005 performance. I have to applaud for his choice of song. The Bangla song that he sang is originally sung by the great singer Ajoy Chakrabarty and it's a really tough song. Ajoy Chakrabarty's songs are classical based and attempting his song is a challange and Debojit did full justice to this song. I wish I could hear him singing the full song!

I wish I could hera the full song..He sounded so good.This was the occassion where Pt.Jasraj Ji and Biddu selected Debu instead of Vinit and what a mind blowing performance..I thought I was listening to Ajoy Chakroborty !!

I just showed the video to my parents who are Ajoy Chakrabarty fans. More precisely, I inherited this from them. They were stunned. We knew that Debo was a very good singer but hearing him singing an Ajoy song was something else. I grew up listening to his songs almost every morning which my parents used to play.

Adiji, I also felt that I was actually listening to Ajoy Chakraborty, especially in the line 'aa..aa..chho keno noyono jure'. I am really proud to say that I supported Debo in Challenge '05. All my best wishes for Debo.
