Now you all can help me in the following: When I read these conversations, I come across too many abbreviation such as "lol", "btw" and many more. When I left India we were taught to write complete sentenses. We never wrote any abbreviations. Please, help me understand these words so even I can write short letters. I just do not know how to write in short. I have the same problem with the young Indians here. They use ic for I see 4 u for for you.

Govind'ji mujhe bhi yeh jaan ke khushi huyi ki aap yaha humare beech hai... Aur main apse bahut chhoti hoon, to aap mujhe 'Jaya' kaha ke pukare, aur 'tum' se sambodhit kare to mujhe zyada khushi hogi
