I'm happy dating my work
...insists actor Kangna Ranaut, even as talks of her marriage surface back home.

Actor Kangna Ranaut's sister Rangoli tied the knot recently. Incidentally, Kangna's last hit 'Tanu Weds Manu' that released early this year revolved around her own on-screen wedding. So it was hardly surprising that when the actor visited her hometown in Himachal to attend her sister's wedding, talks also steered towards Kangna's shaadi.
"Oh yes, there's bound to be the regular family talk about marriages na, but fortunately no pressures. Besides, where's the time?" exclaims the sexy star, who is already neck-deep in work till early next year, with almost six films in hand. "I'm single and loving every moment of it! Besides, I'm just 24 so I think I still have a few years before I settle down... for now!" she adds.
By the actor's own admission there's plenty of action happening on the work front at present. Including controversies? "Well, controversies and rumours are just a part of being a celebrity. I'm learning to take them in my stride," says Kangna. And that includes rumours about her and co-star Mallika Sherawat sharing cold vibes on the sets of their upcoming film, as Kangna insists that all's well between them. "Mallika and I got along really well. There were no problems at all!" she says setting the record straight.
Talking about the real competition in the industry, Kangna says she prefers to avoid comparisons. "I think that my course of journey is pretty unique. I know it sounds clichd, but in my case it's really not." Explaining further she adds, "I've always done things my way and not the conventional way and made it so far on my own and that too without a film family backing or a Godfather in the industry. For me personally I think it's an achievement."
Admitting that she's never followed the beaten path, be it first doing strong performance-oriented roles and then doing full fledged commercial cinema or breaking out of a genre successfully into another, Kangna says there are no regrets. "I have one of the best success ratios on the box office, and I have many things I want to do too... regret is not one of them" But working with some of her favourite actors is? "Yes, why not? I'd love to do a film with Aamir Khan and Salman Khan," she smiles.
