Cast: Ram Kapoor, Sakshi Tanwar and a bunch of others This show is like the first monsoon shower that hits the city after a really long drought.
For a change, it has a lovely leading pair in Ram Kapoor and Sakshi Tanwar. Both have returned to daily soaps as leads after a fairly long time. But the way they handle their characters shows the difference between the current lot and those before them.
Sakshi plays a 33-year-old teacher, while Ram is a 44-year-old single businessman. Their common qualities, they'd give an arm and leg for their families' happiness, without thinking about themselves. They meet in the most awkward circumstances and get married.
Everything from the costumes, set design to the casting, works excellently for the show. It's a refreshing change from the usual 20-something heroes and heroines. The story and its presentation so far is extremely sweet and believable, thanks to the script. The story is fast-moving too.
On the minus side, there's a plotting mother-daughter pair on Ram's side, and their presence can turn this show into something we don't want to see. At times, it reminds one of Ekta's leading show Pavitra Rishta in passing. Also, there are occasions when the background score from other leading shows is repeated here. The show disappointed in parts early on because the promos were too exciting for one to miss.

This one should be fun to watch, hopefully for a long time, unless it turns into a vicious kitchen politics drama. A Gujarati mother is in search of four perfect daughters-in-law for her sons. The catch is, she wants all of them to be like her, and that makes life difficult. Apara Mehta is back to doing what she does best — play a saas (mother-in-law) dolled up like a Christmas tree. The only difference is that she's not evil and doesn't plan and plot daily. She's a fun person who daydreams about her bahus. But a quick reality check forces her to drop the idea she had in mind. Her co-actors also deliver and their performance enhances hers.
As for the casting, it's been done very carefully keeping a Gujarati family in mind. The set is extremely lavish looking, larger-than-life. The clothes are rich but garish… and could have been stylishly rich. The story moves slowly and it needs to be racy to hold the audience's attention in the long run.
