Hemu closes his eyes when he sings, I agree.. but if he didn't connect with the audience how come he came upto top 3 ? If Nihira didn't connect with the audience, why was she rated as the best singer in the show even though she lost ?

all the top 5 in SRGMP close eyes when required.. by closing eyes, you dont cut yourself off from the audience.. Have u seen any classical music recital ? If you like classical music you wil see that the singer closes her/his eyes when they sing and automatically tou also close your eyes.. closing eyes help u to have better concentration and sometimes to get the right emotion..

I remember Amey face churnin when he was singing Tadap Tadap.. u cant sing that song without closing ur eyes !!! Last year amit sana used to sing songs closing his eyes..his woh kisna hain he sang it effortlessly..but he closed his eyes for a lot of the song..he was still the runner up !! abhijit had closed his eyes when he sang tadap tadap and then tu aashiqui hain..

sonu nigam closes his eyes when he sings some songs... what his concerts.. when he sings stuff like satrangi re, saathiya, when it requires feeling he closes his eyes.. does that mean he cant connect to the audience?

Farah Khan brought in that notion and I completely disagree with her, if closing eyes mean u r cutting urself with the audience and the audience doesnt vote for u..then i am extremely sorry that audience doesnt know what they are doing.

i understand tat a singer shouldnt sing a whole song closing eyes.. and u can sing stuff like jhalak dhiklaja closin ur eyes..but songs like ramta jogi, tadap tadap, satrangi re.. u are totally allowed to close ur eyes in bits.

wrt to right here right now, when he performed for it on the finals (it was prerecorded singing).. his eyes are WIDE open and he danced really well.. he was as good as abhi in his style and class and it didnt look fake...

as for the performance during the show, he closed his eyes ONCE..because he had to take a really high pitch (singing for sunidhi) and he danced too.. see thst the thing..its a hip hop number.. its supposed to be like that.. u cant sway ur body so much ! Its supposed to be attitudish.. and he had tat..

in tat same episode, watch the woh lamhe performance, he closes his eyes only in the end when he takes the alaap ! and he does dance a bit.. watch the punjabi pop episode... its in week 11, episode 55 in videos section of www.saregamapa.sifymax.in and the episode is titled green for jai ho gharana.. watch him dance to mundiyan to bach ke rahi...

u were not required to connect to the audience like in ii in srgmp..so obviosly he wont jump off the stage n do it !

Karu Sang that song like a school boy also Meenal and Antra looked toooo "wanaa be" 😕 in that song and sounded terrible (Hemani 👏 beats them any day).

Btw Karu's "one love" was just awesome 👏 😃 even 100 😃 times better then the original 👏 .

Karu should have picked a diff song but his 'one love' was great. Anyway, its a 'wannabe' song anyway even the original. Can you imagine Jay Z singing jhanak jhanak tori baje payaliya or some other classical number? 😛 Versatility rocks but there's a limit.

They might have acted less wannabe if Amey was singing it though...😛😛 He would bring the right attitude to the song, not schoolboy one. 😉

I CON'T COMPER BOTH OF THEM, HEMU CAN SING MELODIES VERY WELL BUT KARU IS FULL PACKAGE OF MUSIC.
