Correct decision by Sonu!

At first I was angry he chose Shovon over Geetesh...and I know many people on this forum were too...But after seeing his Friday's performance, all I have to say is he is simply awesome and can even see him winning. What a heartfelt performance...for me it was the best of the day...

I am still pretty upset about Geetesh. But yes, Shovon has been able to stand up to all expectations and do well, and he has indeed impressed me after Friday's performance.😃

Well, I have admired Shovon's singing from the start. I wanted him to reach the top 12, no two thoughts on that. He has a beautiful clean tone and a classical training along, making him a worthwhile complete package.

But talking of Geetesh, I really feel that his singing is more mature and versatile than Piyush. But at the same time, Sonu Nigam is, according to me, the most genius singer ever born. So, if he chose Piyush, then I do understand that there must be solid reasons which he being an experienced artist can see in Piyush and not in Geetesh.

So, All izz well and I'll go with Sonu's decision any day. I can only hope that Piyush improves his singing and proves my POV about his singing wrong. 😃

If ever there will be a WC round, geetesh should get a chance.

I loved Gangoly's performance. I think that was the best choice by Sonu so far. He himselft, agreed that he is by far the most "Manja huwa singer"

I always liked shovon singing and he sings every song well .when he sings it feels as he worked hard for giving his performance . On stage while singing he get lost altogether in him self. I dont a bit like amit jadhav. IMO he should have been replaced by geetesh who is good singer but miserable could not be selected . I found amit better in dance , instead of staying here in x factor he should have given audition in any dance reality show .

I've always felt that Sonu's decision to pick Shovon over Geetesh was justified - the format of the show forced Sonu to pick 4 singers and he selected well.

I thought this topic was about Sonu's comments yesterday. I admired the way he told the contestants in his team that they sang well BUT they can do much better. He did not overpraise his contestants, neither was he too harsh. This is what we want from all the judge-mentors: honesty as judges and encouragement as mentors.

It was fst eps so every judge praised every contestants as time goes by, They will tell all contestants about their little little mistakes . I dont like the way judges praise to one another much .
