Boney Kapoor decides to release Hurman-Gen starrer

MUMBAI: Hurman Baweja is going to be back from his sabbatical. Reliable sources inform Businessofcinema.com that Baweja's long-in-hibernation project It's My Life, a remake of the Telugu superhit Bommarillu, is now being spruced and spiced up and readied for release post the release of director Anees Bazmi's Ready with Salman Khan.

Producer Boney Kapoor admits there are big plans for It's My Life. The movie stars Genelia D'Souza opposite Baweja.

Speaking to Businessofcinema.com, Kapoor said, "Yes, finally things are moving for the film. We saw It's My Life recently and I realized how powerful the father-son drama comes across. I do have plans to sharpen the film's box office potential but I wouldn't like to reveal them now. Anees and I have planned a huge marketing strategy for the film. I've been prescribed bed rest for two more weeks but after that I've already chalked out plan with Anees. We'll be working on the script of No Entry Mein Entry and the release of It's My Life."

The Hurman Baweja story is far from over. Kapoor feels It's My Life has the potential to turn Hurman into a belated star.

Kapoor added, "I wanted this to be his second release. We even requested Manmohan Shetty to hold back his second release Victory. However, Hurman's box office standing became increasingly shaky and we couldn't release It's My Life. Now we're making every effort to make it box office-friendly."

Bazmi informed, "I've been urging Boney to release the film for a year now. Now we're finally getting down to it. It's My Life is my first love story since Pyar To Hona Hi Tha and Harman and Genelia D'Souza look great together. I believe the script is the star. Yes we can add ingredients but it's the basic drama that would bring them in."

Why did this release get so delayed? The original telugu film 'Bomarillu' is immensley strong and entirley works based on Genelia, Siddarth and Prakash Raj's ability to act well. Hmmm i really hope it works in hindi for the audiences sake, its a wonderful film and concept.

at least 5 out of 10 families will have over caring/obsessive father like "Bommarillu father"😆
