Hey guys. I have been watching the show since it aired last week and haven't seen any chemistry between Ratan and the guys...I mean not even a hug when she gives the gift at the end of the show?

I know Ratan expressed her feeling about "the touch" and having felt degraded but then again she seemed fine when blindfolded and playing the game...

All I see is laughing and music between the men and Ratan when they are on a "date", yeah they talk but not much? Will we get to see one on one interaction in these few episodes?

I live in USA and have watched the Bachelor, which is a dating show-maybe you all have heard of it. That show is way over the top with PDA and kissing/hugging lol so I don't expect that much! But a little affection wouldn't hurt?? I mean she will eventually be marrying/relationship with one of them.

and i will keep watching to find out who Ratan picks😃

What do you all say/think?
thanks 😊

I think the entire touch issue brings in the topic of culture. I have seen the bachelor a few times as well and can see that south asian culture won't match up to it at all.

I know in other countries 'affection' is shown by hugging, kissing and this nonsense, and no offence but Indians got culture. They don't do that sh*t.

what do you mean by that? just because I live in in USA doesn't mean I don't have culture I am directing this topic and the show LOL!!!! but I also understand what you mean that indians have different ways of showing affection~

^ Oh no, don't take me wrong. I am not talking about you, I am talking about the 'Western culture'. The reason why genuine love, genuine affection and genuine relationships are lacking in Western countries is because many Westerners do hugging, kissing and what not even before they fall in love, forget before getting married! Many Westerners 'spread love' so often to so many people that eventually the feeling of being in love completely disappears! That's why it's good to have a culture because respect, love and reserved-character are all a part of a culture.

Yeah I totally agree that western culture takes things very fast! sorry If I over reacted, just thought you were directing at me :) np! but what got me in the beginning is that that Ratan shakes the swayamvers hand when she gives them a gift?? lol so formal how about just a smile and no contact! a person would shake a bosses hand! no hugging that okay i guess!!!
