Dear Bandbajao,
There's a saying that goes something like...
Had just wished for clouds/ and you sent the blissful rain
Today's 1 hr surprise package was just that 😊
After a day hard fraught in the sweltering summer heat this episode was like a god sent gentle caress to smoothen out the creased soul.
I seriously hope certain ego trip experts get to see at least the first scene of today's episode. May be then they just might begin to comprehend why a certain 200+ can't help stop humming the TaSha ballad. May be they will realise, being gimmicky isn't essential to the essaying of a love story. Nor five star dating, passionate gesticulating or forced doses of romance. (Or will they?)
If you've woven your tale with every honesty of purpose, it will unfailingly reach out to the heart strings of the viewer simply on merit. With or without audio-visual aids. For a true love story is all about the exploration of the inner sanctum, about unconditional giving, about striving to understand, accepting each other's weaknesses and holding hands through the turbulent journey called life.
LTL is a fabulous fairytale...and only morons mess with the Prince charming.
Today the episode opened with so exquisite a scene that the eyes kind of started throwing tantrums wanting to mist up. MR always does wonders in these scenes where Dutta's fighting hard to hold back the tears. And Mahi's Naku was like a magician weaving her wand.
We have been talking about Baji's Dutta management skills. Seems like Naku's picked up a lesson or two from him 😃 For she was ever so gently tactful in her maneuvering of her man!!! Not a single slip up from her today. Bid her time well, chose her words perfectly and reasoned with persistence.
Dutta's problem has always been his inability to grasp his own emotions. Today too Naku had to point out to him his feelings for his youngest sister, Dutta's eyes registered the truth but in his akdupaan instead of saying yes I love her said.."Madhu se mujhe koi bair nehi hai..magar uss aadmi ko maaf nehi kar sakta main." Arre Dutta we the viewers have long guessed that Madhu se aapko koi bair nehi hai, but why can't your mind spell out that which is there in your heart? The love and brotherly concern thats apparent in your every gesture towards her?
Listen to Naku when she says Madhu is the real treasure that your Dad left you.
So Naku makes sure that he understands what an emotional roler coaster Madhu must be riding. Yet is Dutta afraid of letting Madhu get close because somehow he feels that will bring him closer to his father as well? Deep down we know, he desperately wants to be proven wrong about Damodar. What Naku said to herself is what we have been discussing for some time now. Once the truth is out Dutta will have his escape rout from his self imposed confines about his father. He will be free to love him the way he wants to.
Naku also brought up a smart point by comparing Kala and Madhu. her spattering of Bappa ki marzi and Aayi bolti hai gave the whole argument greater depth. It ensured a patient hearing from Dutta.
Baji and Naku have developed their sign language well. Baji today entered and exited without being KMH, (or jealous). And the way Naku trapped Dutta into giving her permission to go should be included in every handbook on marital arts
The rest of the episode was about the two B's, Baji and Balu.
But that needs to be discussed in another post.
baas itna bata do, iss 1 hr special ke saath chand *muah*ka koi relation to nehi?
