A 'shoulder to cry on' for AnYa

After yesterday's mind-blowing episode I sat down with a lot of expectations to watch today's episode. I must say I was not disappointed..Today's episode was all about the handful of characters who are going to be AnYa's pillar of support during their quest to get their families to approve their relationship..😊
First scene was quite predictable..Navya telling Anant to leave if he truly cares for her and does not want her to leave..When he left she realized she should have answered his question and ran after him.. Her "Nahin reh sakti main tumhare bagair Anant" was so heart touching..She tried to put up a strong front but the moment he left her resolve crumbled to pieces..
The next scene was my favourite scene of the day..Anant's bro (don't know his name, can anyone help me with this?) knew something was wrong when he saw the dejected face of his brother..Anant and his brother having a much needed man to man talk..Anant was so close to telling his brother about his plight but just then the witches from Banaras had to interrupt.. Anant's brother is a victim of his family's ideologies..His wishes, his dreams have been suppressed all along because of the creepy clan's so called Sanskar..I loved how he wants to make sure the same thing does not happen with his brother..He gave Anant a much needed push when he said "Jo bhi karna soch samajh ke karna..aur abhi karna, baad me tu kuch nahin kar payega" He indirectly told Anant to do anything he can to stop this impending doom ie. marriage with Shagun..Finally Anant found a shoulder to lean on amongst the crowds of creepy baba, angry papa, mean bua dadi..Just the words that whatever you choose to do, I will always support you and do whatever I can to help you meant so much to Anant..Although his brother does not have much say on anything that happens in the house it is still so very comforting to know that someone in his family understands his plight and is ready to stand by his side..The most heart-warming moment of the day was the hg between the brothers..Finally Anant found a bit of comfort, a little reassurance after being in sheer agony for so long..👍🏼
Anant's dialogue from yesterday 'Saath bitaye huye lamhon ko yaad karke hasogi" kept ringing in my ears when Anant was looking at pictures of him and Navya on the laptop and smiling to himself..Poor baby..When he took up his cell phone right after that I though he was going to call Navya but lo and behold he calls Ranbir..Now whenever they show Ranbir I get very happy cause he is one my most favourite characters on this show..And the conversation between him and Anant was s heart-wrenching..Anant telling Ranbir to find out if Navya was okay showed his care for her..He knew he cannot call her because of what she said to him earlier but he had to know she is okay..The best part of the convo however came next..Anant's defeated "Har gaya ranbir, main haar gaya yaar" broke my heart..😭Shaheer was awesome in this scene..👏
Navya's guardian angels were there by her side to listen to anything she wanted to say..Loved how appy and ritz did not press Navya for any information..Appy & Ritz just wanted to be there for their friend, comfort her, console her, listen to her if she wanted to share..Such beautiful portrayal of friendship..I love this trio..🤗
The scene between CSB and Anant was creepy as usual..Creepy Baba's internal antenna's perked right up in alarm when he realized which way Anant's questions were going..Too bad we have to wait till tomorrow to hear the actual question..
P.S Anyone find it absolutely hilarious that Navya's building's name is Shagun Tower?😳😆
P.P.S I found it so funny when Shagun and Rama were offering Anant and his bro tea, and they were looking at it like it was poison or something..🤣

I absolutely loved the guy bonding today - not to take away anything from the touching concern of Ritz and Appy, and the girl scene - but fact remains the boys were my favorite today, and easily so. The scenes between Bajpayee brothers conveyed so much of their grooming, the principles and their sibling love which still manages to be top of it all. In the earlier episodes, such a bond between Nimisha and Anant had been endearing, and I sort of miss the younger sister bubbly/concerned presence now. But Anant's brother had shown promise as a character in the episode when the picnic forms were to be filled, I'm glad its come back into picture, because easy to bend as he may have been in his own life's decisions, the presence of Rama in his routine as his better half is like a constant reminder to him (even if he's resigned to live with it anyway) of why one should once in a while stand up for themselves. And although his means and reasons differ somewhat from Renuka, in certain ways, both these elder siblings somehow wish for their younger ones to break the redundant shackles and gain way to their happiness. I especially liked how he told Anant he would do what he can, in his favor, not promising what he can't do, but promising to be in it with him this way or that... its the best he could have done, shown his brother the real picture, than assured of his support.

Beautifully written JZ..Couldn't have put it better myself..Anant's bro has always tried to make sure that what happened with him does not happen with his brother..Even during the picnic permission phase I remember him saying to Anant that he never mustered up the courage to ask for such things when he was in college but Anant should try at least.. Even now Mohan is telling Anant that he should fight against marriage with Shagun because he is facing the consequences of not standing up for himself and his wishes..In a way it makes sense..Mohan never had anyone who would have supported him but he wants to make sure Anant has someone to lean on..He promised Anant that he could do what he CAN which may not be much but its better than nothing..A little bit of support, a little reassurance sure goes a long way..
Mohan's opinions might not be valued much in the looney house but Renuka's opinions will matter a lot in the Mishra house..When she finds out about her husband's infidelity I am guessing she will put some of the blame on her parents for marrying her off young before both her nd her husband were really ready for the responsibilities that come along with marriage..I am sure Navya's parents will realize the error of their ways and rectify their mistake by making sure the same thing does not happen with Navya..Renuka might actually support Navya with the whole Pyaar thing seing how arranged marriage did not work too well for her..All in all both the siblings will be a majr support system for AnYa because of their own respective suffering inflicted upon them by the wrong decisions of their respective parents..

Another trivial detail I liked in the episode was Navya's mother - how she can sense odd vibes, but how being the person that she is, she likes to take dealing with doubts and concerns at a mature pace. She 's likely confront Navya sometime soon, but she's not pressing. In many ways, despite all the motherliness of Anant's mother, Navya's mum gets an edge. She has her share of obligations and pressures, but she doesn't back off and let things happen whichever way - and a huge part of that comes from the difference of their respective husbands alone.

True! Navya's mom might play the meek and scared housewife just like Anant's mom but unlike the later she has a say on what happens in her household..Anant's mom's purpose in the looney house is to merely cook,feed, and care for the men, ain't it? Meeta on the other hand is truly the better half of Deepak and whatever decisions are taken she will have a say in it..

LOL @ your notice of 'Shagun Towers' - I totally miss such minor details on the average quality youtube vids, but that is positively ironic and hilarious!

Also, the less said about Banaras sisters, the better. They freaking annoy me, and the one blessed part of watching shows on Tube is that I can fast forward their sections *cringes*

Center Shock Baba was AWESOME today, lol, in a counter sense of the word awesome. Like totally. I like how subtly, but unmistakably he starts at Anant's mention of a 'question'. Its the way dogs raise their ears to the slightest sounds of intrusion!!! I loved the slightly but surely altering lines of his expression as Anant presents his point, in understanding that despite all his far reaching schemes, Anant has not been nailed under! Brilliant stuff from that actor, I can't think of another who creeps me out like that on Indian TV!

Yupp gotta give it creepy baba..Theres something in the gulping and the staring..If looks could kill..😆

and phew, that's lengthy stuff from me - don't suffer too much please 😆
