As we reported earlier Shahid Kapoor's forthcoming film Mausam has been delayed to avoid clash with Ajay Devgn's Singham. Both the films were supposed to release on July 22. However, Mausam will now release on September 9.

Shahid Kapoor's film will now release with Imtiaz Ali's Rockstar and Yash Raj films' Mere Brother Ki Dulhan. Both the films have a good buzz in the industry. Though Shahid avoided a clash with Ajay's film, he will not have to compete with ranbir kapoor and Imran Khan's films.

According to a source, the post production work of Mausam is going on in full swing and the first promo will release on June 24 with Indra Kumar's Double Dhamaal. The second promo will release on July 15 with Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara.

Though there are two big films releasing on the same day Shahid seems confident and unaffected by the competition.

Q. Is it true that Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, Mausam and Rockstar will all release on the same day.
A. At the moment the only film certain to arrive on this date is Mere Brother Ki Dulhan. The rest is speculation by the media.

Ahhh!! I don't think i can express how desperately i am waiting for Mausam!! Grrr...i don't know if this is a good thing or not. It could be a good thing considering they just finished shooting...so no rush. BUT...Rockstar and MBKD release on the same day (if im not wrong). My oh my. Oh well. Good luck to all of them. But i am most definitely more excited for Mausam then anything else!! Go Shahid and Sonam and rest of the team!! 😊
