Discuss - Anushka Sharma

This week's actress of the week is Anushka Sharma who made her debut in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. Since then she's done three more films - Badmaash Company, Band Baaja Baaraat and Patiala House

She reminds me that bollywood still has people who can act. I just hope she doesnt get too repetitive with the bubbly punjabi girl roles.

When she first came out, I used to think of her as a paratha face. She looked really plain and did not have the X-factor. But she won me over with her controversial interviews and BBB. So 👍🏼

You know Shahid Kapoor has really grown on me lately, as an actor. I recently watched Badmaash Company, and it really wasn't as bad as the title sounded. I thought the title sounded as desperate as Prince, but Anushka and Shahid were both convincing in whatever they enacted. I was indifferent to Anuskha till BBB, but it's only because she wouldn't stand out from the crowd. Now toh she's with the in crowd, hanging out with Ranbir and the guys, and doing films which will get her noticed. I tell you I love (!!!!!!) BBB. My fav Hindi film from last two years probably. She is raw, a trait that's lacked by many of the "superior" actors too...now that she has got herself noticed and proven everyone wrong, she will convince everyone with her work in the future too.

The only (!) trait of hers I don't like is that she doesn't like ppl using branded items apparently, when she herself does. Oh Anushkaaa. Ha. Otherwise keep on riling the DP, Sona, Kat fans and you're goood.

Edit: Binnesss. Haahahaahhahahahah. Oh man, Imma go watch the film again. The nuances, the subtlety, the one liners = AWESOME!

Anushka Sharma...One of my favorites right now. Why? Mainly because she is improving!! 😊 But like earser said above...i just hope she doesn't get too repetitive.

Her debut: Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi.
She couldn't have asked for more. She could not have expected a better launch than starring opposite SRK either. It's hard to come in and be the "new actor" in bollywood and specially without any "family connections" and acting experience. So starring with a well known name is just a little push to actually get people's attention so i don't think she could have asked for more. And having said that...that's not why her first movie did good for her. All these things played in her favor but according to me...she actually can ACT. I mean, lets face it...she is a pretty girl but she isn't quite the "wow, that girl's gorgeous" either so i think she is doing fantastic being the new actor and is on her way to making a mark in the industry. When i watched the movie for the first time..by the time it was over i was convinced that she could act. She might not be the best one right now but she definitely isn't the worse. She is improving for sure. I recently watched Band Baaja Baaraat and i thought she had improved since RNBDJ! And i hope that she gets better and better after every movie! I would love to see her improve and do good films!:)

I like her. She didn't win me over with her first film, or second, or third...became her fan after seeing BBB. She was awesome in the film, so natural. The only question now is, would she leave up to the hype? Is she gonna deliver again after BBB? Can she be versatile? We just have to wait and see I guess. ;)

And I love her interviews minus when she is dissing deepika and sonam...she usually is fun to watch in interviews. She is a bit too loud and gets over excited (this shows in her films/performance too) she should calm down a little...it gets overwhelming for the viewer to watch her with all that energy.

I want to see her with Ranbir.

Final word: She is def the most talented new comer/new actor

She is simple looking ordinary girl,no charismatic face but her acting wins many people... May be she is on kajol track ... Better than kat,sonam,asin...
