Shaan aims to become independent

In STAR One's prime time show Rang Badalti Odhani, Shaan and Khanak are gearing up for a challenging phase in their lives. Shantanu has left his house to make a mark in life, and supporting him is his loving wife, Khanak.

A STAR One.in source reveals, "Shantanu has made up his mind to become independent in his life without any help from his dad, mom, and brother Akshay. In tonight's episode, Khanak and Shaan, who have left their house, will search for a new abode. They will face numerous difficulties and, ultimately, will land up in a very tiny house. Shaan will decide to become a full-time singer, as he is confident of himself. He will feel it would be a cool profession for him. Khanak will be with him every step of the way as he braves the struggle. Some romantic moments between Shaan and Khanak will strengthen their relationship, and give him hope."

Armed with a new attitude, Shantanu aka Karan Tacker, says, "I have moved out of the Khandelwal house amicably. I have told my dad that it's time for me to become independent and to reach my goals. I know it will be very tough for me to leave the luxuries that I am so used to behind, but if I need to prove myself, then I need to go all out. I am not alone, as I have my sweet and caring wife Khanak with me."

Talking from his personal experience, Karan Tacker exclaims, "It is very important for a person to become independent in life. It not just helps in personal growth, but also adds a whole new dimension in the personality of a person."

Shantanu's dad Sunil Khandelwal aka Ali adds, "I am confident that my son will prove that he is best, and that he can stand on his own feet. I am happy that he realized his responsibilities, and that now, he has taken the decision to chase his dreams. I don't see any harm in chasing one's dreams. I know the road ahead will be very difficult for him, but he is my son, and I am sure he will be successful in this struggle. I have told my wife not to call him back, as I want him to prove his mettle."

Actor Ali shares with us his own personal views on becoming independent in life. He says, "My own life is the best example about becoming independent. When you start working, you automatically learn to value money and hard work. Love and support of parents should suffice after a point, and you should contribute in the growth of your family, instead of depending on them always."
