While much has been said about catfights in Bollywood, it seems Salman Khan's favourite onscreen leading ladies — Asin, Sonakshi Sinha and Zarine Khan — are pretty cool with each other. This was pretty much on display last week when the three actors bonded during the special screening of Ready.
"Together they were like a house on fire when Asin, Sonakshi and Zarine came face to face for the screening of Ready. Detractors would have wished for some fireworks or at the least a few cold vibes but to their utter disappointment, the girls interacted and chatted from nineteen to the dozen," says a fellow actor who was also present at the screening.
While Salman has already done two films with Asin including London Dreams (flop) and Ready which had a historic opening last Friday, with Sonakshi, he delivered the blockbuster Dabangg and the pair will also be seen together in Kick. As for Zarine, though Veer didn't do well, Salman has promised to do another film with her soon.
"Naturally there had been speculations around the rivalry between the three girls," says an industry observer, adding, "However, there is no ill feeling between them." "The days when girls indulged in ugly catfights or bitchy remarks are over," says Asin, adding, "There is competition but in a healthy way. Everyone is busy and knows that only insecure people carry negative energy with them. Thankfully none of us girls think like that."
With such bonding, we guess the industry diktat of catfights has been pretty much thrown out of the window, or is it just to keep our Sallu bhai happy? Whatever the reasons may be, the girls, it seems, are surely having a great time with each other.
