I always felt that Kamini was stupid and arrogant but not evil like her husband and son. So I was not as surprisedthat Kamini was disgusted at her son and was on Mukti's side... Although, I can't help but wonder that if the circumstances were different, if this is WASN'T nearing the end of a blatantly female empowerment track and if Ekta wasn't out to prove a point about men and women, then maybe Kamini would have supported Sharad, because everything about her had always pointed to that.

i think so ekta suddenly decided to change kamini character in to a positive one god only knows why

Ya it was kind of a shock for me to see kamini taking mukti's side...i never thought that she can let her son go to jail after knowing the whole truth.
