Vidya Balan doesnt chipko to big actors, doesnt go around clubbing, wearing glamorous clothes, doing item numbers, jiggling, getting involve in scandals etc etc but she is anything but a bore on screen. She just raises the movie to another level with her brilliant acting and screen presence.

My point is, its just not about getting involved in anything mentioned above, it's just about having a boring personality and a boring screen presence. Asin has nothing too individualistic about her, she can easily be replaced with any other girl in her movies, nothing too great or too bad about her. She's just meh.

@ bold if that was the case she wud not had survived after Ghajini .u her next movie after ghajini after came after 6 7 months later n her 3rd movie almost after a yr .n she is still getting offers n if u know she had rejected many offers which landed in sid's chamiya's lap😆

my whole point in the ramayan is she is a no nonsense hardworking "boring" apne kaam se kaam rakhne wali kind gal .whoever cast her wants her to act in their film rather than ---- so she has a long innings in bollywood n same goes for vidya .i like both of them as actors as far as the replacement goes its vice versa .atleast she is far better than the much than her contemprories

n interesting fact is the things that u r mentioning as her flaws are her plus points which attracts filmakers n actors n besides she hherself says even if she goes from bolly (even that wud be her wish) she has south industry to back upon which unfortunately most of her glamorous publicity hungry entertaining contemproraies dont 😉

omg, yes totally agree with you, Asin was amazing in Ghajini, but totally hated London Dreams.

I've seen a few of her Tamil films b/c her best guy friend loves her so I ended up watching that film of hers with Vijay and I had to read the subtitles to understand the film, but didn't need subtitles to understand her emotions...she has an expressive face! I think that sums up how I feel about her...she is talented! And I guess she's fun to be around on sets and stuff so ppl automatically like her!

Do they really? That's news to me.

The thing is with Asin I loved her in Ghajini but she disappointed me in London Dreams, I do however believe she has the potential to do well in Bollywood and I agree she seems like a nice girl. I hope Ready becomes a super hit for her, I am keen on starting to watch South Indian Films so hope to check out some of her films.
