Well Shailini obviously we are poles apart tell me about it! 😆 in the way we conceive and view courage, even with your refernce to "the Mocking bird" (excellent book btw)i know right!!! i read that book a thousand time! I still cannot call this courage of Gulaal. Its her complete lack of intelligence to judge a situation. In these 10 years under the garb of keeping Dushyant's secret, what has she achieved in keeping the family together. Absolutely zero, first Kesar got sent away to boarding, Raman got jailed, Sudha living the life of a nun and so to keep Sudha company she put Talli in her hand. JK is the same old she could not change her mindset. I mean what has she achieved...nothing, no point in holding a family together for the sake of a promise. maybe it'll be the end-point result.. i dont know..in the end the whole family will be together... or something? LOL. but i agree she has achieved very little. but she did manage to protect kesar from JK and her family's evils.. dont you think? after being sent away to boarding school, he kind of was away from all the "evils". She promised Vasant that she would take care of Kesar is this how she does it by bullying him to her POV. i agree with you there. just because she promised him to take care him doesn;t mean she can make everyone succumb to how she wants things to be done. that's wrong and kind of does advertise slavery! LOL.😆Vasant would have talked to Kesar so as far as promises go she has failed miserably due to her complete stupidity. No Gulaal is not a mind reader and I dont ever think she can be one, but since many on this forum think she is so mature, understanding and she is the one who is supposedly closest to Kesar and knows him so well is all complete nonsense. She has not taken even a bit of trouble to understand Kesar, so to even think she can analyze hormonal changes of Kesar is completely stupid. maybe she did, but we, as viewers, can't read HER mind. LOL. (sorry for being hopelessly optimistic! )Gulaal is well on her way to menopause so what can Kesar do.😆 hahaha!!!🤣Kesar will never outrightly ask Gulaal her relationship with Dushyant, he respects her way too much. But the question that he did ask her about why the situation has changed in these past 10 years, she ran away without answering. Then she has the audacity to slap Kesar in front of everyone she ran away cos she didn;t expect him to love her that way! didn't she? i would be overwhelmed if someone 10 years my junior literally profess his love for me! someone who i used to bathe and all!!! lol.Trust me even I know Kesar some day will read her diary and will understand the magnitude of her sacrifices and will worship her all over again. (BTW that is sick for me and I know that is all will happen). But what about Gulaal?? until the CV's start showing her as a normal woman, I dont see any chemistry between these two. Today Gulaal went too far by raising her hand on Kesar, if Vasant were alive today even he would never have done that. BTW as far as I recall Vasant never asked Gulaal to keep the family together, by hurting one and keeping the other happy. Respect should be given and earned and in my eyes Gulaal has lost every thing today.hmm. taking that view into consideration, i think both gulaal and kesar will evolve from their currently "defective" stage. cos vasant was too good to be true since the begining. maybe the flaws of these two characters will evolve into something more "normal", as you say...
