Totally uncalled for.Why is she so mean to him.Why on earth is she protecting D,by slapping Kesar she is still breaking the family,so how is she fulfilling Vsants dream.
She hurt the person who Vsant loved the most.
She is totally out of her mind.Plz share ur views

ya i know. like a lot of people said yesterday, i thought a few more dialogues about kesar insulting motabha or sumthing like that would occur and then the slap. but it was dushyant all along. and the slap came at such a juncture i dint like it at all.
😕didnt get it.

did anyone noticed gulaal's worried expression after kesar walked off?? i thought after that encounter with kesar she would be exhausted and frustrated at what was going on... but she looked damn scared and all... i think she might know that kesar knows about D... she's a smart woman... she could have guessed..

but it could be the fact that JK mentioned about them being pati and patni... i dont know..

just a POV!😊

hahaha what a joke!!!! 🤣🤣 Gulaal is the dumbest ever...she has already had several clues about Kesar's disgust for Dushyant yet has purposely turned a blind eye, and you think she is smart LOL 😆😆height of imagination. As for pati-patni she gives a damn about it ...first ask her to think of Kesar as a grown up individual , the pati part can come later. 😡
She was scared because she realised that in her mad woman avatar she thought she was doing everyone a favor, but then realised Kesar can do anything in his anger.
All Gulaal cares about is how she can best represent herself as Mahaan the ultimate sacrificial queen and the entire household should fall at her feet for her great sacrifices. What rubbish story this is. 😔
Everyone on the forum talks of chemistry...of Kesar and Gulaal. What kind of a lousy chemistry is this...she does not even treat Kesar as an individual and its high time she did that first.

chemistry in the sense, you can sense the tension between the two... that's the chemistry we talk about here.. but you have to agree, that gulaal is one of the most moral and principled characters i have ever seen... which is why she wins my heart!😳

Tension is chemistry 😆😆LOL this is funny. BTW what is moral and principled in your eyes is not in others. What I find most disgusting in this highly moral lady (in ur eyes) once she is convinced she is right, no one can say anything else. So much for her principals and high standards that she does not even bother to find out what is bothering Kesar and dont tell me she has not had warnings.Angry That is a height of morality and principle. sick, sick, sick!!!! Kesar is asking tough questions now and she is too scared of facing consequences of her actions.
I can never respect this woman until the truth of Vasant's murder is out and till she stops taking over the household of Motaba like its her god damn birthright.

its the fact that even though she knew it was wrong to hide D's crimes (she was very scared when she found out about D involved in his murder), and yet she did it cos she made a promised to her deceased husband. that's what i call is keeping your word. i shall quote the book "to kill a mockingbird" because it is just so fitting..

I wanted you to see what real courage is, instead of getting the idea that courage is a man with a gun in his hand. It's when you know you're licked before you begin but you begin anyway and you see it through no matter what. You rarely win, but sometimes you do.

what the author meant is you carry out whatever task you know you have to do because you gave your word, knowing that probably that's not the best way to go about it, but still doing it because you gave your word, and willing to face the consequences. i dont really expect you to understand my point of view today, cos clearly our minds are set in different scenarios, but what i would love for you to understand is that gulaal knows she went against almost everything to hide D's bad deeds, but still did so cos her love for vasant surmounts everything else. that's why, i am team gulaal today.😳 and probably was. gulaal's love is more profound than what we see from kesar's. and gulaal will be the one to teach him about this magnificent soulful love. omg. i saw gulaal today from a diff POV, and i am liking it.

she did ask him many times what his problems were, but kesar never revealed them to her. she's not a mind reader. until and unless he says them all aloud she's not gonna know. and she has other things to do than look out for signs. she (like any other person) would think he's just being a hormonal guy, afterall he is young, isn't he? and he's not the only person she has to take care of. she gave a promise to vasant saying she will look after the family. and kesar has a knack (unknowingly) of listening to the wrong parties. trust me, at the end of all this, even kesar will realise he was in the wrong the whole time.

Well Shailini obviously we are poles apart in the way we conceive and view courage, even with your refernce to "the Mocking bird" (excellent book btw) I still cannot call this courage of Gulaal. Its her complete lack of intelligence to judge a situation. In these 10 years under the garb of keeping Dushyant's secret, what has she achieved in keeping the family together. Absolutely zero, first Kesar got sent away to boarding, Raman got jailed, Sudha living the life of a nun and so to keep Sudha company she put Talli in her hand. JK is the same old she could not change her mindset. I mean what has she achieved...nothing, no point in holding a family together for the sake of a promise. She promised Vasant that she would take care of Kesar is this how she does it by bullying him to her POV. Vasant would have talked to Kesar so as far as promises go she has failed miserably due to her complete stupidity.
No Gulaal is not a mind reader and I dont ever think she can be one, but since many on this forum think she is so mature, understanding and she is the one who is supposedly closest to Kesar and knows him so well is all complete nonsense. She has not taken even a bit of trouble to understand Kesar, so to even think she can analyze hormonal changes of Kesar is completely stupid. Gulaal is well on her way to menopause so what can Kesar do.😆
Kesar will never outrightly ask Gulaal her relationship with Dushyant, he respects her way too much. But the question that he did ask her about why the situation has changed in these past 10 years, she ran away without answering. Then she has the audacity to slap Kesar in front of everyone
Trust me even I know Kesar some day will read her diary and will understand the magnitude of her sacrifices and will worship her all over again. (BTW that is sick for me and I know that is all will happen). But what about Gulaal?? until the CV's start showing her as a normal woman, I dont see any chemistry between these two. Today Gulaal went too far by raising her hand on Kesar, if Vasant were alive today even he would never have done that. BTW as far as I recall Vasant never asked Gulaal to keep the family together, by hurting one and keeping the other happy. Respect should be given and earned and in my eyes Gulaal has lost every thing today.
