Ready has huge advance at single screens. Its only 3 hours that most have opened at tickets are
flying out every minute. Just rang around and normally exhibitors don't even want to talk on Monday, its always ha, na, theek hai today is totally different. Last time there were good results on Monday were TMK and YPD and this is much better.

They are all saying its same as Dabangg. Seems like single screen opening on Friday will better or on par with Dabangg.

Novelty Lalbagh Lucknow 1.5 lakhs worth of tickets, whole week capacity 12 lakhs, so 12% for week sold out in 3 hours flat.

Ready Takes Mega Advance At Single Screens

The advance of Ready opened at single screens and results were fantastic. All over India, it was a unanimous verdict from single screen exhibitors.

The advance at single screens matched that of Dabangg and even bettered it at places. There is no doubt that the single screen opening on Friday is going to be humungous. It will be either best or second best ever. The results at multiplexes will tell if the right buzz and hype has been created for the film.

As Ready is Salman's first release after Dabangg it will be compared to Dabangg even though Dabangg smashed all opening records by a distance.

Most in the trade seem to feel it will not have an opening weekend like Dabangg as the feeling is that promos are not as strong as Dabanng's. But Salman is there and two hit songs, the Friday could come up to match Dabangg. If the film has good content then the Dabangg weekend is definitely under threat.

Q. How much will Ready open to, please give weekend number and not just huge or great?
A. Even the weekend depends on content as the bigger the opening, the falls can also be quicker. Ready may do 40-42 crore opening weekend as long its not rejected. Even higher is possible. Some circuits like CPCI and Rajasthan may even challenge Dabangg on opening day. There are mixed views in the trade with expectations of around 30-35 crore as many feel its too massy for high end multiplexes but only one mass entertainer in Yamla Pagla Deewana this year and that one was not big budget so public is thirsty for mass film. Multiplexes and single screens will be huge.

Ready Advance Counters Open Early At Multiplexes

The advance counters for Ready opened yesterday (Sunday) at many multiplexes across the country. This is done as Sunday has the most footfalls at multiplexes but the problem is not many know advance is open, the ones who book on advance, do it normally on Wednesday at multiplexes as that is when all multiplexes open advance booking and alls shows are available.

The fireworks for Ready will start today as single screens open their advance. The film has collected fantastic MG's from single screens and no doubt these screens will see fabulous advance today. Ready may possibly be the first film to release on 1000 UFO digital prints as it reaches deeper into interiors from day one. Both Dabangg and Tees Maar Khan were released on around 900 UFO screens.
