Misti,
Thanks for your thoughts.😃You are welcome Radha. The episode was tastefully done with a lot of purpose.Yes.All the actors were in the fray and all of them did a fair job.Yes.Coming to the highlights of the episode---we had quite a few:1) Padma's outburst on Radhika being given the rsponsibility of RP was correct and fair.Yes it was...2) Mohini was right on the button when she clearly implied that Radhika had disobeyed BB's order of not going close to dadaji--which was the rule of the house for the past 12 years and Radhika gets praised for following her own ways. Absolutely correct because although BB and Viraat were irritated they did not have a suitable reply.👏👏Mohini. Well Mohini is usually right, she does pick up stuff and says it, unfortuantely her jealousy makes people think that she is just lashing out.3) Ever since Radhika has entered CB, the maunavrat which was prevailing amongst other members in CB seems to have been broken and all of them are freely sharing their thoughts, be it Padma, poet or Daima.👏👏...Well you know my feeling reagrding this all I will say is that it feels like a combination of sleeping beauty and Rip van Winkle...😉...and personally I wish they had done it some other way or given explanations as to why all these people were sleeping.4) Last week I took it upon myself that instead of coming to the forum and bugging others about what is wrong with Dev, I decided to send a feed-back to ZEE clearly asking them who the lead for the show is ---Is it Dev or Rohan. To be honest I liked Rohan's acting and thought I should change my likes after seeking my clarification. Very promptly I got an answer from ZEE that my feedback has been sent to the concerned authority. As an answer this week I founf Dev softening upto Radhika and Rohan becoming intolerable, so who is the lead and who is the negative one, can I come to some conclusion?😉The lead was always Dev because for the past two-3 weeks whatever was happening, he was the reason behind it...Radhika did all this for him, she did not do it for Rohan. The story was revolving around him. He was behaving that way because he was confused...the mistake that the creatives did was not to give monologues to him to expain his position...if he had explained his POv as soon as he took some controversial decision it might have lessened the impact and also the same thing apllies for Radhika...they should have immdiately let her explain why she came in as the false wife and not wait two weeks. To me Rohan has been damaged by making him into a lunatic...Rohan was an excellent grey character, although the diecision regarding Rohan and how they are going to use him is upto the creatives, I hope that they bring him back to that... a gray character who can play both ways.5) Now, what do I have to say about Radhika---she is confidence personified, without making a big noise slowly and steadily moving things without offending anybody, Daima has already given her ghee shakkar---today she will get her brownie points from Padma----I really liked the way she is talking to Dev, anyday better than only eye-lock. The way she presented the flute and told him--to use the flute to balm his hurt and live life for himself . Radhika is truly in the way of getting her KK out of Dev, the one whom she met as her childhood friend and the one who chased her in the roads of Mathura. After all this, when Dev becomes KK, even if he does not accept her still it will give immense happiness and pleasure to Radhika for bringing him round. You have taught someone to be happy and live life to the fullest. Hats off to Radhika. BTW I did like the way you interpreted this as Radhika flirting with Dev.😉Yes Radhika is good and for me too dialogues are better than only eye locks...Radhika is behaving with him as she used to behave with him when they were kids...to get the KK out...she is giving him the support and understanding so that he starts living his life and not just surviving and that does make the person who is supporting immense pleasure that cannot be defined. Also liked the fact that Chenu has taken the promise he gave his sister seriously, hope this is sustained and what better joy in reforming a person.Hopefully he also sticks to his promise...and Chenu had to turn positive...that was the demand of script writing. Usually in script or stories when one character becomes negative in order to maintain a balance some similar character will turn positive...Rohan and Chenu are both basically grey and have similar traits...both selfish but both love Radhika (Chenu) and Dev(Rohan) in their own way...so when Rohan became negative, Chenu become positive to maintain the balance. They did the same thing in CB1...the more atrocious and black amma became, the more sympathetic and white Dev became ...it was done to maintain the balance. They got their short term TRPs but it ruined the show because amma became a carricature and Dev too perfect. I am glad that even though Chenu has change his basic characterisation is there...they have not killed the spirit of Chenu.
