Your family has a wish list for Christmas.
I notice you are making the problem very big even before it has happened.
I recommend that you do things step by step. Guy should meet your mum first, or both your parents. Do not pop the question of marriage first n let them get to know him. Office colleague or Boss etc. Meeting can be planned at office function even.
