Combining both days together cuz got to watch yesterday's epi kinda late too:

1) The scene in the classroom after Navya realizes that Anant never sent her the note and notices him avoiding her in front of R-R-A too...this entire bit was so heartwrenching and really poignantly shown...I thought Soumya especially did a great job with Navya's expressions there as she's lost in thought and the dealing with the confusion and the hurt...the sideways glances that A and N exchange alternately...you can see the turmoil in both their eyes...even Anant who is otherwise struggling to keep up a strong front...this is another one of those scenes where not a single dialogue is exchanged and they both express so much...and the ending with Navya still trying to be normal/nice to Anant after they accidentally bump into each other but he point blank snubs her and doesn't acknowledge her and runs off...that bit really got to Navya you could tell.

2) The scene at the bench when Navya again tries to talk to Anant...Anant jumping a bit when she calls out to him and getting mayo on his shirt😆...her trying to clean it for him but he's so jumpy now that he doesn't want her anywhere near him...lol...Navya's hurt at the rejection again...still she manages to gather herself and calmly asks him if they can talk...but Anant is in "I need to run for my life" mode and escapes out of there as quickly as he can, again snubbing Navya...and you can see that it's ripping away at Navya...the hurt builds up even more.

3) Then we come to today's epi and it opens up with Navya still struggling with that hurt...and finally unable to bear it and it all comes out in the form of uncontrollable tears...I thought it was a naturally conceived scene...Navya's breakdown...Ritz-Appy trying to console her but her unable to control her tears and finally realizing that the entire class is watching so she bolts from there...I do wish Soumya's acting in this had been better though...she was much better in Monday's epi...today, not so much.
Shaheer on the other hand, was very good in this scene as he first sees Navya crying and it kinda hits him in that moment...that's when he's unable to hold on to the strong front he was putting up...

4) The rest of the epi was frankly draggeddd...upar se Soumya's portrayal of Navya's crying was not good...was making me cringe in many bits...and the scene was slow...I got the point that A and N were struggling with their emotions and I did feel bad for both of them...but the scene was still stretched out too much.

Random funny bit..."Jaldi bolo, Anant"😆😆 Seriously NAVYA was saying this to Anant? Oh the irony😆...

The bit that really touched me in this epi was obviously Anant's "Meri taraf dekhogi bhi nahin, Navya? Itni naraaz ho mujhse?"...Shaheer did a really good job in that entire last bit showing Anant's struggle with his emotions, his hurt, him wanting to say so much to her but not being able to...you could see the visible effort he was trying to make but just couldn't find the words...again and again Navya asked him, "Main jaaun?" or telling him that Ritz-Appy were waiting for her...and each time you could see him struggling to say something...but he couldn't get the words out...whether it was to want to stop her...or to fully express everything that it's in his heart...it was a struggle...and when he was close to tears in all that emotional turmoil, you feel for him...very good acting by Shaheer...the last bit with him saying after a pause..."theek hai" and then just being unable to watch Navya leave as she gets up and actually starts walking away...he just had to stop her and tell her what's going on in his heart then...I guess it's the visual of her walking away that kinda hit him...

It's interesting how they execute these scenes b/w AN...both of them not really knowing how to express themselves fully...although on a level they both know what they want to say to each other...for Navya, in that moment, she had kinda distanced herself already after going through the hurt of Anant snubbing her again and again...and then realizing that something was wrong and he didn't want to be around her...so she herself was in escape mode then...Sadly however, Soumya's acting was not up to the mark in these scenes or they could have turned out much better...the dragging out of the scene also didn't help.

Tomorrow looks interesting as the convo finally begins...remains to be seen what turn the story takes after that now that RRA will also know about them.

Agree with your analysis Anu . Anant is a good boy at heart unlike Boys who can easily roam around / take girls for a ride and then dump. Anant is a genuine guy. He did right / will do right by not misleading Navya. Its a different story that it won't work that way...( after all Anya have to be together). I liked the fact that he is trying to set the record straight.

I for some reason think Navya has only expression on her face. Is it just me or does anyone else watching feel the same.

Whereas Shaheer is a naturally talented. For that matter even Appy and Ritz come across as more comfortable with their acting.

yeah i agree wth bth of you, todays episode was very cute and sweet in many parts, bt i do wish soumya acted btr in the crying department, it was a bt cringworthy! the part when he asked her, tht wont she even look at him, is my favourite part, and when he stpd her from going, i cnt wait till tomorrows epi, i hope soumya acts a bt btr! bt i thnk shes only knew, so it may take her some time to adjust, and then shel be btr!

@KripaRajput: I won't say that Soumya only has one expression...she does have some range...she is at her best in the bubbly, effervescent scenes with her family cuz she's naturally charming there...but when they put Navya in slow motion mode and show her with one constant worried/crying expression, that's when her acting gets odd...with the way she moves her eyes around and stuff...but otherwise she suits the character...today was an off day for her acting.

Shaheer is obviously the better actor also cuz he's been acting for a while...this is Soumya's first show.

Anant and Navya are very genuine characters...realistic...they are both good at heart but going through the confusions, impulses and upheavals of a newfound attachment...and I feel these scenes expressed that well...the conflicts that they are both dealing with emotionally...Anant obviously never intended to mislead her...he is also grappling with something he has never felt before and is now trying to back off after feeling like he got carried away...at the same time, he is unable to stay away from Navya fully either cuz he is unable to bear the sight of her crying so brokenly...The interactions and bonding b/w them are well written and nicely executed.

Ditto to all the "likes" mentioned😃.

One thing that I like about this show is the portrayal of Anant and Navya as naturally imperfect, naive and genuine college going kids. There's no show off or fickleness in their portrayal...they seem normal despite being fictional.
Both Shaheer and Somya are doing a decent job with their portrayals. I second Anu in that Somya does give variety...especially when she's given the relaxed or happy moments as well as emotional moments in the past. But she does need to work on the "crying" bit. She wasn't bad...she was just not as good as expected in that moment.

It was a filler episode...a build up for tomorrow's Big day i guess😆. The gang comes to know what was brewing between the quiet Navya and principled Anant and what a shocker for them!😲😆

Thanks, Amy...I think they MADE it a filler epi by dragging out the last scene over the course of the epi...lol...this show has a serious tendency to do that from time to time...like in the engagement epis, some picnic epis too...they kheenchofy things aevein...to build up to a "big day" so to speak *rolls eyes* What's oh so special about showing it on June 1st??😕😆...yeah the gang's going to come to know tomorrow...big shocker for them indeed😆...I hope Soumya acts a bit better...although the precap doesn't give me much hope😆...Shaheer/Anant's bit is obviously emotional but the way Navya was crying in response to that had me ermm-ing😆...chalo we'll see tomorrow.

But yeah, agree with you once again about what makes this show worth watching vis a vis the portrayal of Anant-Navya as very naturally imperfect everyday college-goers...well said👏

lol anu i was ermmm-ing at that Navya crying bit while Anant was confessing about his dilemma as well😆. Gosh darn the director! Why is he making Navya cry so much? Is it because that makes her fit in to the criteria of Star Plus female lead?! 😳

Hey Anu, missed reading your posts last couple of days. Glad to see your back.
I agree with all the things you mentioned. My hubby and I were also commenting on Soumya's acting. It does deter from the scene and the fact that they stretched out the episode did not help. And frankly, the precap made me laugh. I found it funny, that he had all this time to say things and finally mustered courage to do so, just when the others turned up.
Anyway, I going the woman's lib way and would like Navya to ask why he did not think of his family, values etc. beforehand. She is the one being dumped and has a right to do so. Her upbringing is not so very different from his values wise, yet she is not pulling back. And as this show is supposed to be about today's generation, surely today's youngsters do not just accept that I cant bcos of my family etc.
All said and done, the show is keeping me hooked at the moment.

Good analysis Anu!👏
Though I feel the sequence of events regarding AN could have been better handled. Anant could have appointed a subtler approach, instead of snubbing her three times in one day. And Navya could also have waited for a while, cause technically the whole 'ignore' attitude lasted for only one and a half days. Not that I wanted it to stretch or something, but the CV's could have handled the whole situation in a more appealing way..also the entire class staring sat Navya while she was crying was a l'le OTT, dude you're not in kindergarden!
Anant getting emotional was emm, weird. Can someone explain WHEN did they get so emotionally attached? Though I kept staring at his baalon ki lat, uff, kya baal hain Lol!
Though I agree with Amy that they have been shown as two realistic college-goers, the emotional scene atleast uptil now has been bleh. Hopefully it goes better tomorrow!
Btw does nobody remember Anant's pic from the family portrait that Sagun was trying to insert herself in? I was ROFL! He looked like a five0year old who delights in cracking weird poses and getting them clicked 🤣
