As far As TRPs are concerns YES THEY ARE IMP... 😳 Coz there are so many serials with different concepts trying to flourish but are not being able to. Dues to this fact the Channel will Shut the program if the TRPs are not going good... TRPs are the way for the Channel to know how well the serial is going!!

IMO, they should show gaurav opening up to Vidya about his sexuality and become friends with her. Help her , stand by her and let her become independent. Then they should show Vidya learning to build a life of her own and preferably find a guy who is interested in her. That would be a more realistic and relevant story line.. and provide inspiration for other men/women in similar situations.

OK. This show is supposed to bring to light issues in our society and not the chemistry or lack there of the lead characters. It will be the same old story if the story is that Gaurav loves a prostitute...What would be so bold about that? Nothing!

The issue of homosexuality being swept under the carpet in our society is a real issue and needs to be addressed. The track has to be only that Gaurav is gay to be the bold show that it was promoted to be...

We are supposed to be concerned about how people that are gay are treated and forced to get married, etc...exactly what they have showed so far in the show and the gay track would be a first and it really needs to be addressed! And being bisexual would be a waste of a perfectly good story line...

thats a news ... i m seeing some chemistry building between chinu and vidya probably first they will show g as gay and then go with young boy elder bhabhi tarck...my pov no offenve though

@kutegal - I dont wnat the bisexual track because it could still be a pro-heterosexual track then.. I agree in your friend's case, he decided to be with his wife, but what about the cases where the decision goes the other way?

If for TRP they change the track from gay to bisexual, for TRP they may then make the same-sex partner as grey and then show Gaurav repenting and coming to Vidya.. To me that will be insulting to the people who chose alternate life styles.

Having Gaurav gay will be the boldest step to make and show the growth in story realistically.. and I would prefer Maryada to go the bold route.. That is all..

I have a number of gay/bi friends and engage with PFLAG too, so I do know that these problems exist esp in the desi community where homosexuality is still taboo.. I wish this show would really tackle those..
