Anna Hazare's attempt at getting the Lokpal bill has developed some glitches. There is difference of opinion between some factions regarding inclusion of Prime Minister and the Chief Justice in its ambit. What do you think about this? Should the PM and Chief justice be liable to be tried under the Lokpal Bill or should they be left out trusting the democratic process to undertake its course?
Ramdev baba the Yoga guru has threatened to go on hunger stike. He supports the later.

Thoughts in my mind...He must be jealous of Anna!!??!or is he doing for this to get cheap publicity😕
BUT... I stand by anyone who is against the currption...baba may have made several mistakes but his cause for the fasting is noble and for the betterment of the nation..so lets support all those who are up against corruption.. best wishes!👍🏼

I think Anna Hazzare's demand for a check on the corruption counter in our country is a great noble deed.

People should moreover support him. I think Baba is doing this all for cheap publicity only! Anna's intentions are true and whether some one likes it or not, I am WITH him.. I support his idea of check over our Ministers..

Corruption rate in our country isn't a rare topic now! It is somewhat instilled in each of the politician...

I am surely with Anna! Best Wishes to his correct intentions and noble deeds! I hope the Jan Lok Pal Bill is passed out quickly!

Isnt it strange that lot of people supported Anna but are divided about Baba Ramdev? Let us see if he is able to pull the same crowd as Anna did.

The over enthusiam of some people with the wrong reasons can cause more harm than support to the anti corruption wave 😔

Firstly, there are major flaws in the Lokpal Bill as Anna and his co-drafters has proposed. It is based on the idealistic situation of pure-democracy, where people can directly frame or influence law. But India, and for that matter all democratic countries, DO NOT have Pure Democracy. We have Representative Democracy where people elect their representative and the elected representatives (MPs at centre and MLAs at state) make/approve laws to govern the nation. No person in their right mind can allow people to frame laws or determine the position of Constitution of the nation. That might sound very idealistic, but it will only lead to further lawlessness. The place of Lokpal as something authoritative and above PM and Chief Justice, would seriously undermine the democratic framework and would even disregard the separate Legislature and Judiciary and above all, the Constitution.

Secondly, as the person above me has rightly pointed, this Baba fiasco is misleading this entire anti-corruption movement. Due to this Baba's non-stop antics, the Government and the Judiciary is unable to do anything substantial even if it wishes to. His demands are most unrealistic, and clearly proves that he has no grasp on reality nor any insight in the functioning of a nation, and the icing on the cake is, drunk with his popularity, he's unwilling to listen to reasons. If someone tries to point out this Baba's frollics, they are being shunned as villains and supporters of corruption. He is speaking of uprooting the government and forming private armies and all this is taking this matter into somewhere else.
