Hollywood beats Bollywood. This line is becoming an eyesore for most. We have been led to believe that our films are no longer being patronized and the audience is preferring the Hollywood series/sequels of big blockbusters like FAST AND FURIOUS, PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN, HANGOVER and not to forget KUNGFU PANDA, all of which released recently to a good response. So, is it really the case and should the industry press the panic button? Well, the answer is a big NO.

Actually the first thing is that all the above mentioned Hollywood films are already a brand in India and as such they have embarked on start that have ranged from 40-50 to 70 percent and have not taken the blockbuster start that the gullible readers have been misled into believing. More importantly these Hollywood ventures have practically gone competition less as most of the films that they had to face had been small, starless ventures or at best featuring second or third tier stars.

That brings us to this Friday and READY. The Anees Bazmee directed Salman Khanstarrer is all set to sweep aside any competition, be it from Hollywood or Bollywood. And we invite Hollywood to release its best bet against the film and prove us wrong!
