Today's episode definitely warrants discussions. I hope to see more of the same this week from the CVs.
It was a stupendous episode. The part that sticks in my mind is when Guddu stands in front of the window and he is so torn between wanting to rush down and wanting to maintain his level of sanity.
The same think happens when he catches Runjhun from falling.
And again when she begs forgiveness from him by getting down at his level. This time he jumps up to save his pride or else, he would have melted like ice during heat wave!
He says that he will shatter Runjhun's ego to smithereens, but it is his ego that is holding him back over the love that he feels in his heart.
Such beautifully done contradictions of one brain. I was floored today. This is definitely a must watch show again for me.
Himmanshoo, Nivedita, my hats off to you!

This is for Himmanshoo: The boy sure knows how to act!! He did me in today!
I know I feel a sense of relief to see the CVs back in true form, but these 2 actors are a jugalbandhi - like the sitar and the tabla.

The looks that these two gave today was incredible. It was a whole other dialogue apart from what they said to each other. Today, Baby it was in the eyes. 👍🏼

TODAY, i finally saw how much closer these two have become over 25 days. It was not so much in the scenes in the mall, or in the temple last week but today. They were crying out to each other in silent need and it was mesmerizing.

Guddu over the last two days has openly told RJ that he is going crazy. That he gave her too much importance and time and time again he was betrayed. It was like when he told her that he was flying high and then crashed. LISTEN to him RJ

And today RJ, as Infofan said, when she hold his hand and Guddu looks at her. OMG I was going to faint. This strong girl who never turns to anyone clutches at Guddu for help. And the LOOK that they exchange there. I saw finally how much RJ depends on Guddu and how he really is her shield in so many ways

When RJ comes to serve him dinner, that was another LOOK. Wow these fine actors spoke volumes through their eyes. Guddu looks at her with so much tenderness and feels so bad as to how she was treated. And the sorrow in RJ's eyes was fantastic. Many times RJ's eyes are hooded, but they were naked today. Both for a moment have a raw unguarded look. Guddu's eyes also were missing their angry glint and had a real softeness I saw with his mother. I saw not RJ's anger at Guddu because he mistreated her earlier, but concern over him and that he is going through something.

Now she knows he is not cruel. He has a reason for his anger and is hurt. I love the way that she forgets his behavior and looks underneath his anger to try to understand. BEAUTIFUL. There is such a relationship growth here.

The look in the mirror made me cry. I know why Guddu looked up at the mirror. He always calls her a back-stabber. So what is she like when his back is turned? The sorrow and hurt in her eyes and then the turmoil in his eyes when he sees her crying are also magnificent here. All these looks were reflected and one can think of the mirror imagery here.

Finally the looks at the end. That one long look when she is apologizing and her eyes are rimming with tears and the look Guddu gives her. Again there is such a dialogue underneath. She cares what he thinks, what he feels and to watch Guddu want to make her feel better, but trying to restrain himself was amazing. He has as Gardes says to physically get up to handle his emotions

One of my favorite looks is the one Guddu has at the end of the episode. He almost looks like he will cry, The anguish in his face after he turns her away was so powerful at the end.

👏 Fine job today from everyone!

Return in the forum after 4 days and just seen the good news that this show is not going to off air...oh! i'm so happy! really Himmanshoo is such a jerk who told that this show would gonna go off air to one of the members of this forum... now i guess he is having a great laugh!!

Runjhun will definitely stand for herself...i would be more than happy if runjhun didnt kneel down before "abusive" guddu. because guddu has already mend his mind in the way that no matter what runjhun does, he forces himself to relate that with that challenge. I want a strong and firm runjhun. well its a matter of time when Guddu confesses his love from the bottom of his heart. because he doesn't afford to lose her and he knows it subconsciously. but all he needs to do is "to realize"...that's it! waiting for that. I'm not at all worrying about those mamis' tortures. these are turning guddu's confusion into belief regarding his feelings whether its love or infatuation. i thing next time the heir of baba harshvardhan of kannauj is going to kneel down before runjhun.

regards

Very well spoken all of you I am glad that I joind in to read and be apart of this journey.

I have a feeling ( I might be wrong) RJ cant emagin that G could love her as he has always shown his disdain to her and called her Panuti. I am impressed what cammand both RJ and G has over their emotions.

Love is to become a puppet in someones hand ( vunerabilty) and both has bad experiences from the near ones. They will fight with tooth and nail to hold back.
I really want Runjhun to realize that she wants Guddu for herself and not for amma.
The first thing that G imparted with his look after he caught her was care and How he contradicts what he is feeling and saying. I remember Billo mami sying some day that Guddu Shukla is a coin wich has Guddu Shukla on both sides. No head and tails Just heads.
I got that he never lose? have I got that wrong.

JP,
I picked this snip off your post, because when I was starting and stopping to write, I had registered this in my head and wanted to thank the director for the shot. It was so brilliantly done.
The other one was when he has a monolgue earlier in the episode in front of the mirror. It is to convince his brain that what the heart is saying CANNOT be true.
Today's episode reminded me so much of conflicts couples tend to face. When you think you know someone, you don't, because you have an image of the other person in your head that you cannot overcome. And most of that distorted image is derived from misunderstandings and miscommunications.
My all time favorite book, Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen, portrays Lizzy and Darcy's misunderstandings so well and how each comes together with a certain image of the other, almost to lose each other.

Gardes, yes.. The have not been able to look at each other and really see each other yet. They need interpreters. Today the mirror was the one that Guddu uses to try to see if he can believe her. Can reflection reveal what is underneath her? RJ always passes every test. Guddu does not know that yet. Of course the mirror proves her true. A modern Sita in that sense. In the reflection, there is no gloating RJ, but one in despair. Image and reality are the same in RJ. This reminds me how Guddu looked at Kukkan's eyes and wanted to believe so much the RJ that Kukkan sees.

So far the misunderstandings are very poignant because they are not contrived. Of course Guddu's restrained anger today echoed the fight they had about Abhi--how her intentions are not clear. But today, there was so much more pain as more than before, they really do want to understand the other

Speechless episode

I hadn't even thought about that!!! I love Pride and Prejudice...😳😊 Darcy overcomes his ego and Lizzy realizes he cares for her...😍

Darcy...😍What was I going to write? Oh...right... Gunjhun...😆

I haven't seen today's episode yet so will comment on that once I see it. I have a few comments on last week though since I caught up.

How many times has Guddu told Runjhun that the marriage is over? Twice? Once was after the Abhigyaan is in your heart scene and then in Friday's episode when he leaves her in the marketplace. It seems that everything cycles in threes so I'm just wondering if we need to hear this one more time before he stops saying it.

How many times has the "hakk" question come up? Twice? Once in Thursday's episode when she asks him "what right do you have?" and he says something like - "What right do I have? Just because I haven't taken my right over you as a husband does not mean I do not have a right. I am your husband and you are my wife." I think the first time was right after they go to mandir together for the first time for his mom and then he finds out from Mittho that Runjhun was faking the prayer. Guddu confronts Runjhun and takes her hand and places it on his head to swear on him. Then he says "what am I doing who am I to you what right do I have over you?" I'm wondering when he changes that "hakk/right" mentality. Is it going to come up one more time?

My posts are going to be back and forth the next few days since there were a lot of things I wanted to point out last week but was not able to...
