First questions first, do three incohrent words uttered in a state of complete intoxication signify love, or does caring, compassion and a complete understanding signify love? Does saying, "I love you" hold any meaning when it is only your heart that is speaking and not your soul? Does crying over a shattered relationship mean love or does breaking down in the arms of your partner mean love? Does remembering and thanking someone's warmth and compassion show love or does drinking to forget someone's heartless betrayal show love? Does someone who makes you forget your pain is your love, or does someone who's mere presence hurts you like hell is your love? If you know the answer to this, you would know whom Jai truly loves and who he thinks he truly loves...😊
Now getting back to yesterday's episode, I fully sympathized with Jai yesterday....how can he ever get over Pia....not because he still loves her, but because of the way she crushed his heart....the "I love you Pia..." was more of an echo of his deep pain than any true love for Pia! My heart really went out to Jai and Bani yesterday....and my god, Ram Kapoor was amazing....I just couldn't stop my tears in the scene where he breaks down crying on Bani's shoulders....and hugs her tightly.... 😭 I remembered the lines of the song which I had posted a few days before, "Sanam bazooon ke hasi daayre mein, roke bhikarne ko jee chahta hai....."
See that has what ultimately happened....he did end up broken and shattered in Bani's arms and cried to his heart's content! What a scene, it was so well directed!
I am the first one to critize Jai whenever he goes nuts, but yesterday, I empathized with him fully....its not his failure that he still loves Pia, its his weakness, he just cannot help it! Just the way, it is Bani's strenght that she loves Jai to the point of madness despite the black past they both share!
Love is something which cannot be explained, cannot be contemplated, cannot be judged and certainly cannot be forgotten....Just because Jai still loves Pia, has nothing to do with the fact that Jai cannot love Bani! It is perfectly normal to be in love with two people....because Love as such is an extremely relative emotion....it is fluid like water, it takes the shape of the vessle....
Hence, if Pia's love gave immense pain and heartache to Jai, then Bani's love gives him the security and comfort that a child gets in his Mother's arms....both are love, but both are different!
Bani's love is truly the most selfless and one of the highest order....she loves Jai and that is it for her....she doesn't care a bit about his past or what has transpired between them....she only cares for Jai!
And belive it or not, when Bani enveloped Jai in her arms.....even in his state of complete intoxication, Jai immediately senses it.....
That is why he remembers Bani's silent support to him and not the fact that he had expressed his love for Pia in front of her! Jai thanking Bani was not an excuse at all....Jai is not the kind to ever give excuses to anyone, least of all to Bani......Jai thanked Bani as a friend, for supporting him so selflessly when he needed her the most, for being with him without him asking for her, for giving him the warmth of her presence without Jai telling so much in words....Jai's thanks to Bani was not for saving the situation in front of Mausi, it was not for "not" mingling with Pia and Pushkar infront of him, it was not for supporting him when he fell down in his drunken state, it was not for letting him hug her when he was senseless, it was not for helping him lie down and put him to sleep when he got to his room...it was all that and much more.....IT WAS A THANKS FROM ONE FRIEND TO ANOTHER.....A simple Thanks expressing everything!
Jai doesn't have to hide or be shameful of the fact that he still loves Pia....so what if he does? Doesn't Bani know the same? That is why we all love Bani so much, but just because Jai still loves Pia doesn't make him any smaller or worse. Atleast this is my personal viewpoint! If Bani doesnt' see Jai's love for Pia as a deterrent to her love for Jai, then why should Jai see it as a roadblock? Bani's love for Jai is so unconditional and so deep, that it didn't matter one bit to her that Jai uttered his love for Pia...why should it? Bani loves Jai without any pre-conditions attached and nothing on earth would move the conviction of her heart!👏
Jai and Bani's relationship has the perfect foundating for a stupendous success....they know each other inside out, they trust one another blindly, they understand the other person like the back of their hands....they have no inhibitions in crying or breaking down in front of one another, they have no need to make excuses for their behaviour to one another, there is no place for an apology in their relationship and most important they both accept and love one another as the way they are......what else does one need in a relationship?
Trust me, the day Jai falls in love with Bani or rather realizes his love for Bani, his love for her will be as all-consuming and dedicated as Bani's love, perhaps more! 😊
