It was ten years ago that the whole nation grooved along with her gyrations in Rangeela . Urmila Matondkar has moved on from those 'Rangeela' days.
With the advent of many sex symbols in Bollywood, Urmila moved on to do some serious stuff and enacted in films like Pinjar , Tehzeeb , Maine Gandhi Ko Nahin Mara and Banaras – A Mystic Love Story.
Her portrayal of the girl who is taken over by a spirit in Bhoot was greatly appreciated.
But after crossing 30, Urmila feels that it's not the end of the road for her in Bollywood.
In fact, Urmila says that age is not a factor for actresses to get more film offers and real acting starts only after 30.
"Age is no bar … Aishwarya Rai who has crossed 30 is getting more films. In fact, film actresses become more popular after crossing the age of 30," Matondkar, who was in Kanpur to inaugurate a garment showroom, told newspersons on Tuesday.
She said she was getting more films now and her next movie 'Speed' would be releasing shortly.
The 'Rangeela' girl said she was also acting in a film directed by eminent filmmaker Shyam Benegal but the name of the venture has not been announced yet.
