Ankita furious over news of her merriage

Today a regional newspaper has reported that Sushant Singh Rajput and Ankita Lokhande who play Manav and Archana on Zee Tv's popular daily soap Pavitra Rishta have secretly tied the knot on the outskirts of Mumbai. Though Sushant had proposed to Ankita on national television some time back the news about their marriage has shocked many of their fans. The daily asserted that they were married as Ankita was spotted with sindoor in her hair.

To ascertain if this was indeed true TellyChakkar spoke not only to the couple concerned but also to their very close friends.

A furious Ankita Lokhande fumed, "I am surprised how people interfere in one's personal life. I want to say that this is just a rumour. I am not a fool to get married secretly. If I had to get married secretly then I would have never allowed Sushant to propose to me on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. Whenever I do get married the whole world will come to know. Even I read this story where they have reported that I was spotted wearing a sindoor. Haven't they seen my show? My character Archana always has sindoor in her hair so what is new in it? There are so many TV stars who after pack-up do not change their get- up and leave with sindoor in their hair as they are in a rush to go home. Does that mean that all of them are married? This story hasn't affected Sushant or me but what about our families? There are so many relatives of mine who live in Pune who must have read this story and actually believed it. Marriage is something special why would someone hide it? I am proud of my relationship and I don't see any point in marrying secretly."

We called Ankita's good friend Rashmi Desai who said, "These are all rumours. If it would have happened I would have definitely known as we are great friends. She wouldn't hide such great news from me."

Yet another good friend Nandish Sandhu too echoed much the same, "I am not aware about any such developments."
