Miss Universe will take place on Sunday, July 23, 2006 in LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA. The Presentation Show will take place on Tuesday, July 18, 2006.

I thought the same too. But I feel all our Miss India's this year have the potential to do very well at the Pageants they will compete in. For example, look at Sushmita Sen and Aishwarya Rai. Aishwarya Rai was the most popular choice for the Miss Universe contender. But she got second place as Miss India World and Sushmita Sen won Miss India Universe. And they BOTH won the International title.

Miss Earth and Miss World are just as prestigious and popular like Miss Universe.

Neha wasn't the prettiest, but she is very confident onstage and has a really good walk, so if not the Miss Universe crown, she can at least grab a semi-finalist spot this year. The others were pretty good too. But maybe it is fate that made them win the title they have.

I feel Aishwarya and Sushmita wouldn't have won if they they had won each others Miss India title.
