Part 119

Suchi and Surrender came up within fraction of seconds along with Dev, so did Lechu.

Radhika was sitting with tear trail on her cheeks and was holding onto her leg.

Suchi sat next to her : what happened beta?

Dev sat next to her , holding on to her back, Radhika in crying tone: mom, my leg, it is so painful, I can't take it anymore.

Suchi checked on her leg and felt the tight rolled up muscle bundle.

Suchi to Dev: this is muscle cramps beta, and it will be really painful.

Suchi asked her to straighten her leg, but she cried again as she felt that tight bundle moving up again.

Suchi asked Dev to help with other leg too.

Suchi slowly helped her to straighten her leg, and slightly stretched on her heels, and then gently flex her toes backward to her chin. Radhika cried out again with pain, that Dev released her leg and looked at Mom in concern.

Listening to his mom, Dev followed his mother's instruction and positioned her feet the way mom held.

Suchi looking at Lechu: get some warm water beta

Lechu looked at Surrender and he also accompanied his daughter to get the water.

Suchi looking at Radhika: I know beta, it will be really painful , but next time if it comes just do this ok, stretch out your leg, , heel first and then get the toes towards your chin, that is the only way you can get some relief.

Dev with fearful face: but why this happened mom?

Just trying to make you understand, as in this time period certain things can happen unexpectedly and that is not radhika's fault , nor somebody elses. You should learn to face and tackle it as it comes to you, may be you or she has to go through that pain, but it should not be blaming on each other. And if that is eihter one of your mistake , then surely try to make the other person understand or realize it, and try to overcome it.

Surrender came in with warm water.

Suchi dipping the towel in it, and squeezing the hot water out, slowly applied it on her calf

Suchi: how are you feeling now?

Radhika: better mom

Suchi: um, next time if it comes just follow what I said Ok, and try to stretch your leag in between if possible, to get that musle lose.

Radhika: ji mom

Dev: mom, I will do it now, you can take rest.

Suchi: no beta , I am ok

Dev: no mom, now I know it, and apply this warm towel over it, right?, I can do it, mom, I know you all are tired.

Dev kissing her cheek and her eyes: I can't see the pain Radhika, and I don't know what else to do

Radhika looked at him and he just brought his finger from cheek to his lips.

Radhika covering her face, turned to her left side

Dev adjusting himself by her side: Radhika, is the pain gone

Radhika; it is still there, but its ok

Dev: don't listen to mom ok, if you have any discomfort , let me know, I want o know it early.

Radhika smiled

Dev: I am serious Radhika, please let me know, ok

Dev: do you want me to apply that warmth more on your leg

Radhika; no I am fine, just hold me in your arms, and I will be fine

The next day Radhika rested mostly in her room as her leg was hurting too bad with taking those steps. She managed to move around inside the room better. It was around evening time, and Dev found Suchi sitting on the garden bench and was reading something. He walked near to her...

Dev: mom

Suchi putting the book down: ha beta, Is Radhika feeling better?

Dev: ha mom

Suchi: good, so what is it?

Dev: are you busy?

Suchi: no beta, I was just reading this book , quiet interesting , its ok, ...you need something?

Dev coming near and sitting near her: not really

From his heavy facial expression Suchi understood there is something bothering him, so she kept the book away on the table , and adjusting herself, she asked: what is it Dev?

Dev resting his head over her shoulder: mom

Suchi: um, bolona

Dev: does Radhika really needs to go to chandenpur?

Suchi controlling her smile: why?

Dev moving his face and facing her: no mom, just asking

Suchi: tell me Dev, what is it?

Dev again resting his head back on her shoulder: no mom, after seeing all these, and if such situations comes, and if nobody hear her , and...

Suchi: holding his chin with her hand: so you are worried.

So you don't need to worry about anything, and belive me, she will be fine and safe there.

Suchi: the real reason behind this questioning is you are going to miss her, right?

Dev just wrapped his arms around his mom's shoulder and held her tight.

Suchi with smile: for certain things , you won't change Dev.

The night before her trip, Radhika was resting in bed, Dev laying next to her. Radhika was pulling on his arm to hold her more tight., adjusting himself to wrap her in his arms, he asked :

Dev: what you will do once you get in chandenpur?

Radhika in anormal tone with closed eyes : you stay with me..

Radhika controlling her smile : then what will we do?

Dev: you are going to be with dadi , right?

Radhika: most probably

Dev: dadi knows better than anyone, so I am sure you will be safe

Radhika: but we will miss you.

Dev lifting his face up and placing his cheek over her side profile: I will miss you both badly, very badly, but I will try to be there on every weekend, and then towards the delivery date, I will be there, I will try to finish my work by then and dad knows na, so I am sure, he won't assign anything important at that time, let see. Now I can't wait to get you both back to our home.

Radhika: then don't send me

Dev: you know what? I wish that too, but other way, it is good Radhika, you will have somebody around you all the time, dadi is there, maaji is there, and you will get all the attention.

Radhika: Lechu is here na

Dev: for how many more weeks, her college will reopen soon

Radhika: but atleast I will be able to see you.

Dev: hai my angel, don't worry, you are going to be near your nana, nani and all, Papa will be there on this weekend ok, and don't give any trouble to mamma till then, mamma is very poor, I can see how much she is struggling , she is going to miss papa, along with all her minor issues.. so be a nice girl and behave well till papa get there ok.

He placed few kisses for his little one and then coming up to face her

Dev: Radhika, she is all fine, and she is not going to give you any trouble till I get there ok, or else let me know right away, I will talk to her.

Radhika contrlloing her smile: um

Dev: and now I need my hak

Radhika: what hak

Dev: to survive for this two days

Radhika looked at him in question

Reminder: It was a long journey for me, don't know how you felt , few travelled with me all thru this, with all the ups and downs and I am so much thankful to them, actually no words can explain the love that I got after writing this FF, so much that i can't even dream, so much that my heart just swell out, thanks to my Di, who forced me to write this.. , that I am even thankful to AVINA for giving me the wings to dream...

But I am not done yet.. one more big drama is coming ,, but that is to step down at the final destination, and have no clue how long that will take, but as you know i have few more things to connect and I love drama. especially if it can bring the family more together, more closer... so yes, I will be back , connecting all that dots that I left behind, because I wrote them with a purpose, and I need them to end this too.. so.
