Armaan reunites with sister

Armaan Sir (Apoorva Agnihotri) of Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin has just reunited with his long-lost sister.

And it is all due to Jassi (Mona Singh). Armaan's sister Anjali, aka Angel, makes her entry in Thursday's episode of this Sony daily. Playing Angel is Rakhi Tandon, who is back on the small screen after a long gap.

"I return in Armaan's life to set things straight," says Tandon who finds her character name Angel "extremely cute." She is a go-getter who always gets her way.

"Angel was something not talked about all this while as the family did not want to be associated with her," explains the actress about the out-of-the-blue sister for Armaan. The drama will have Angel comfortably ensconced in Canada.

The channel describes her character as a shopaholic who is also majorly into Feng Shui. She is the typical Indian abroad who looks down on those oh-so-typical-middle class values. To add more spice, Angel is thrice divorced and doesn't think twice before getting into a relationship.

The track will have Angel land up in Mumbai after her mother Ila (Mahrru Shaikh) sends her a SOS to save Armaan from drowning in his love for Jassi. Her character is expected to play a major role in teaming up with Mallika (Rakshanda Khan) and Ila against Jassi.

"My task is to make Armaan get back to Mallika and my mother knows that only I can make this happen," she says.

Tandon, who has featured in serials like Dekh Bhai Dekh, Hum Paanch and Heena earlier, bagged this role in Jassi "due to my old association with Jassi's producer Tony and Deeya Singh. I had acted in their show Dekh Bhai Dekh so it was just a call from them to be on the show."

The actress-producer also runs an acting school and says she likes "to put her fingers into many things at the same time and everything goes on side by side."

Sweety once more

RakhI Tandon, who is best remembered as Sweety of Hum Paanch (Zee), is looking forward to playing the character again. "It's something that gives me happiness and I am looking forward to the show being back."

Ekta Kapoor's Hum Paanch is slated to return with a generation leap later this year.

3 divorces???? the family did not even want to mention her???? bhaai ko dekho aur behena ko.....kyaa raakhi waali jodi

surely ila must have ended up doing something totally different during both her pregnancies.....

i hope she really sets stuff straight our way and not the ila-mallika way

i think t&d cannot make jassi remain single for another 7months therefore a marriagei s def on the cards and they way things are going like its a kind of climax u know all the vamps ready to attack ad whether jassi-armans lovecan sustain it all and did u see ila yesterday for the first time they showed their house in full and ila telling that i cannot see jassi in this house and also bebe,papaji ,jassi,arman all talking/thinking abt marriage .....i think after a few hiccups arman-jassi will get married for sure .........lets hope this happens .......that angel is just a guest appearance right i mean she cnt be a permanent fixture for sure in jjkn ......so les see if this happens

i think angel will change her mind after seeing jassi!!! i mean at first she will try to do some leg pulling but after somedays shew ill also start loving her!!!!!!at least i hope so!!!

i just dont know why rakhi Tandon is Angel. She looks nothing like Ila, Puru, or Armaan.😕
