Rohini's Plot
As I see this serial, I find all those who have worked for it, have given their best for the job, and their splendid dedication, as given us this work, to enjoy and learn about life. Seeing them, I too feel motivated to do my best and write this update, to the best of my ability, and trust I am making you enjoy the serial more. Especially those, who are not lucky enough to watch it during the day live on television.
Today, Rohini has been working over time, to get her sister hooked on to the Patwardan family, where she has had a cushy life, running roughshod over all the gentle members of this family. Her father in law has been generous enough to give her an air conditioner, from the bonus money he has received, and in return she is bent on fleecing them, and taking control with the help of her sister. Like the American CIA, she has taken the job seriously, in tutoring her sister.
She has planned to connive with her, to send her to the college with her brother in law
Daksh. Rohini has already tamed her husband to do whatever she wants, and now she has a new student, to tame his brother. Will she succeed in this challenge we have to wait and see. When Madhura is out, the elder sister is constantly is keeping her on line with her instructions, and she presumes that Daksh is doing her bidding, the same way she is used to Sanket doing her work at home. It is left for us viewers to see the effect of her tutoring, with Daksh with wide eyes, and strange look on his face. Daksh is avoiding his new comer, but the sisters keep up the story, that they are doing wonderfully well, in their game. Daksh wants to apologize to Naina, but this headache, finally leaves him, and then he calls her, and she is quite casual and tells him that if she did not have to go on an errand, she would have continued to talk to him. Daksh will have to wait, to explain his problems to her.
Daksh tells Madhura to come home by herself on a taxi, and as I guessed yesterday, he was in the south of Bombay, and so Madhura has to come home on her own. But her wily sister will see to it, that the good hearted brother in law will do her bidding, though reluctantly.
Naina, has gone to meet Ayush, who is with Akruti at a restaurant. Ayush as usual is pompous and over bearing, and it works with the timid girl, Akruti. But the sharp
Naina, is measuring up, with her watchful eyes, and a vague smile on her face. She says little, but gathers a lot from the chance encounter. While they are there, Ayush offers to order tea, and Naina tells him that Akruti does not like tea, but Ayush is a push over, and tells her that Akruti will do anything for him, and she accepts. In the meantime, she gets a call from Ms Chopra, and wants to take their leave, when Ayush, interferes, and Naina puts her foot down, and tells him, that Akruti is well aware of what she has to do. When she has gone, Naina, tries to dig out some more of Ayush;s hidden ego, and asks him, what he has thought of marriage. Aysh gives vague answers, and eventually, lets out the cat out of his bag, and says, that after marriage, he expects Akruti to take care of him, and the house. That is enough for Naina, to know the mentality of this guy. He has sealed his fate. Eventually, they part company.
In the evening, Rohini has managed to send Daksh to pick Madhura, and take her out, and they are at the Ice Cream parlor, where Madhura is relishing her cone, and Daksh is waiting impatiently aside, and tells her that it is getting late that that they better be back at home. At home, Rohini is again on the phone with her sister, and wants a running commentary from her about her achievements. She adds her own imaginary story to fill in the gap, and lets an anxious Ayee, her interpretation of what is going on. For Rohini, it is all settled: Daksh is in love with Madhura, and she is the fitting girl for him. They both belong to the same community and clan, and that is an added point in her vision. She tries to broach the topic of getting her sister married to their son, but the parents, are stunned, and overwhelmed with this rash girl and her goals. They have had enough of her antics already, and she wants one more clone to rule the roost !
As soon as Daksh and Madhura come home, Rohini is at it, and rushes the parents to make a decision, which they will not do, until their son agrees. Ayee is eying Naina, and tells Rohini, that Daksh has come out of his shell, after meeting Naina, and that remark stings Rohini like a sharp needle.
In the bedroom of Daksh, Abhi and Naina have gone to speak to him. Abhi as usual, wants to control the situation with his jovial remarks. Naina has already been accosted by Akruti who wants to know what Ayush has said, and she has already tken for granted that he loves her. Naina ponders on the situation, and tells herself, that this guy loves himself more than the girl, and wants to exploit her for his own ends, and one day, she will have to come out and tell her that.
Rohini has in the meantime, marshaled the two elderly parents of Daksh and barged into his room, and she wants the parents to broach the subject to their son. They are reluctant, and then Rohini forces the subject, and concludes that the deal is struck, while Daksh is in a daze, and has not uttered a single word.
Rohini is in a celebratory mood, and tells her parents to distribute sweets, and the elder couple is just lost in the mire created by their tempestuous daughter in law.

This Serial has apparently not been receiving any support ads from the Channel, but has a solid support from its viewers on IF, who are increasing every day. Just watch the Chaska Meter, and vote for this serial. It started on 21 and now had climbed to 17.and now it has dropped to 18. Every week, it has a large share of votes.
