Well this is just a saying for most of usā¦..but this is what Sweetu believedā¦..this is what Sweetu trusted and this is what Sweetu worshipped.
Her and MK's bond ā¦ā¦it was something like a Fairytleā¦oops I mean fairyā¦tail to herā¦.she worshipped it like a godā¦..she considered it as sacred as they holy bible or the hole Mahabharata or the Holy Quran!
Its been around 8 months since she has moved to Indiaā¦.she has settled very wellā¦ā¦she had adjusted herself to the surrounding, to the people with great excellencyā¦ā¦she got a very new set of friends too. But stillā¦ā¦still MK was her best friendā¦..and no one else.
Maan, in the initial days after seweetu's departure, lived a very solitary lifeā¦.sans friendsā¦.sans a best friend! He missed her being around him badlyā¦..he missed her during lunch breaksā¦..he missed her during swimming classesā¦.how she'd come crying to him whenever she got stuck in the tubeā¦ā¦he missed her sweet innocent bak bakā¦.he missed her playing pianoā¦.he missed her kissey wisseyā¦ā¦he missed her chubbinessā¦.and God knows what not!
Whenever he felt lonely, he'd walk into his room and stare at the gift Sweetu had given himā¦ā¦he'd hear the cuppy cake audio hundreds of timesā¦..but one thing he did not understand was why she gifted him an audio tape? Rather she could have gifted him a recorded video of her playing the song!!! Neverthelessā¦..he missed going to the Handa houseā¦which seemed more like a haunted house now!
Both missed each other dearlyā¦..but the pain of missing each other was not so badā¦ā¦.well who did the magic????
Wellā¦..God bless that telecom company that supported sweet & MK's telephone networks!!! Everydayā¦more that 1 hourā¦.that too ISD callsā¦..they were earning in gold and silver! Everydayā¦.almost every day either MK called Sweetu or vice versa!
It was so much of a routine that they had founf out a suitable time to talk despite of the time-lag. They talked so many things that both of them knew what was going on in the other person's life.
Maan had got new friendsā¦ā¦not a "best" one thoughtā¦ā¦he was doing great in studies and sports as well.
Geet too had found a new Taylor in Meera and so many new friendsā¦..but her heart still yearned for her MKā¦.Mishtel Khulanaā¦her best buddy!!!

Geet (crying): I sobā¦.didn't prepare at allā¦.sob!
Maan (angrily): Sweetuā¦whats the time there?

Maan (more angry): so what were you doing the whole week han?? Why didn't you prepare?
Geet: sobā¦..itna gussa kyun sobā¦kar rahe ho aap????i don't feel like studying!
Maan (surprised): don't feel like studying???? Sweetu!!! What has happened to you after going to India?
Geet: sob..MK..i don't feel like studying hereā¦.mann nahi lagtaā¦sobā¦kal mein pakka fail!!!
Maan (angry): you don't feel like studyingā¦mann nahi lagta!!! Stop giving lame excuses Sweetuā¦..education is the foundation of your careerā¦your futureā¦how can you say you don't feel like studying?
Geet (cutely): sobā¦.MKā¦since when did you become a good orator??? Sobā¦.my previous records are not good and sobā¦ā¦if I fail tomorrow, ma'am will definitely call mamma & papaā¦..sobā¦ā¦mein kya karoon Mkā¦ā¦.sob..
Maan (surprised): previous records? Sweetuā¦you had Monday tests earlier also?

Maan: and you say that they are not good??

The next thing Maan heard was the flipping of pages.
Geet: MKā¦.here I got the mark sheet!
Maan : ahanā¦sayā¦all the marksā¦.honestly!
Geet (innocently): last Monday ā English 25/30, maths 3/30, science 5/30, social science 10/30, 2nd language 15/30ā¦ā¦
Maan's jaw dropped openā¦his head was spinning now! His Sweetu scoring such low marksā¦ā¦.that too telling him all the marks without any hesitationā¦ā¦.hats off to her guts----he thought!
Hmmmā¦Kawaii *wonders*ā¦.oye mere Maan puttarā¦its not her gutsā¦ā¦its her trust on you! Waise me thinkingā¦.sweetu told all her poor marks so easily..if anybody else was in her place, she/he would have definitely hesitated! But this is Sweetuā¦..MK's Sweetuā¦..š³
Geet: previous to last Monday , English 27/30, maths 5/30, science 12/30, social science 2/30, 2nd language 11/30ā¦..and the Monday before thatā¦..
Maan: hold onā¦hold onā¦ā¦.stop right there!!! Really Sweetuā¦if you say more, I'll faint here!the only thing you are good at is English!!! Now can I know the reason of such poor marks???

Geet (happily): MKā¦.i got 3rd in the classā¦.english 28/30 , maths 27/30, science 25/30, social science 29/30, 2nd language 24/30!!!
Maan (dancing): good very good Sweetu!!!!
He was in 7th heaven 9th cloud now! Afterall he was the one who took the pain of helping her out with her studies! He'd call her every night (IST) and help her clear her doubts and give her tips for better result. She'd listen to him carefullyā¦ā¦..she studies till midnightā¦..just because her MK wanted her to do well.
Geet (happily): oh MKā¦..love youā¦.love youā¦love you so much!!!! You are the bestest of the best friend! Thank you so much!
Maan: now don't say thank you okay! You need to maintain that throughout! Maintain your rank and try to do better!
Geet: Aye Aye captain!
That night geet slept very happilyā¦ā¦she ought to maintain her position! She remembered clearly when MK had told her that he always maintained a position within the 1st three ranks of the class and she being her best friend ad no right to score less that ythat!
It was probably in one of those days in the past one month he had said that! but geetā¦she can never forget his wordsā¦never in her lifetime! And so she triedā¦ā¦.tried her level best and finally got her results too.
