Hello everyone! 😊 This post is more of a question than a discussion. Anyone who knows about this please reply, and if you think I'm wrong than please correct me.
It's all got to do with Kesar's sudden baby bump 😆 Just a few days back she was as thin as ever, and today it looked like she's quite far into the pregnancy. This led me to my query...
Now, what I heard sometime back, was that Indian television rules are that a baby can't be shown in a serial for more than a specific number of days (probably around 2-3 weeks, maybe?) So, the show has to take a leap of a few years, till the age of the child is within the allowed range, perphaps 6-7 years?
Now, while I'm not sure if this news is true... I have seen in quite a few serials that they don't show babies. The youngest child in a show is usually at least 5 years old. If there is a pregnancy, it is either finished by showing some accident, or unnecessarily delayed. If the baby is lucky enough to be born, the show soon takes a leap of either a few years, or maybe many years. I'm sure everyone's noticed this, I don't want to name any serials, coz then the mods will just call it comparing 2 shows 😆
The same thing happened in our show initially. 2 of Kesar's pregnancies were ended. Prats refused to have a child, and Komal was unknowingly prevented from having one 😆... it's true, none of us want a baby track right now, but that's beyond the point.
But now, with Kesar's suddenly big baby bump, it's pretty much inevitable that this time a baby will be born... and that too quite soon. Will the show have to take a leap of few years then? Or will Kesar be shown to leave the Thakur Niwas in order to bring up her baby in a decent environment? If the baby isn't shown, then the show won't have to take a leap, right?
Anyway... my main question is, Is my information correct? Is this true that the law states that a baby can't be shown on a serial more than a specific number of days? And if it is, then in what direction is our show heading?
