How many of you watched Rakt Sambandh when it ran? There, the lead girl Sandhya, who was blind, had an accident while trying to kill herself & her hubby in order to avenge her father's murder, and despite the accident, she was rescued and got back her eyesight as a result of the operation that followed. She then assumed a totally new name and profile, infiltrated her sasural and pulled a whole series of stunts for 9 months b4 ultimately getting her entire sasural into the slammer.
Point is - the show had mediocre ratings early on, but after that revenge track started of her infiltrating her family, TRPs skyrocketed, and stayed that way until Imagine changed the time on the show.
There, just as Sandhya became Vrinda and made life hell for her ex-sasural, here, Arpita became Pihu and is all set to batter BJ. Can't wait for it to happen, and I predict that this too will shoot TRPs thru the roof. This is the way it's done, CVs, not like in AkBA or PMMKA, where they kill off the leads guys and get the lead gals married to someone else.
