Good afternoon and welcome to the new fantastic week of Geet HSP..
Just in brief... Superb Superb episode..
Dharashi Dharmi rocked with her performance without a single word except "Maan" she portrayed everything with her eyes... her expressions and her body language... and Gurmeet Chaudhary with his modulation of speech.. Together this awesome duo has created one fantastic memorable magical and beautifully romantic episode... and brought the magic of Maaneet right in to heart of their viewrs..
Ok here are the details...
Holding the letter of Maan Geet is running through the corridor to come to the terrace to find solitude so that she can read the letter without any interruption...
She comes running and almost slides to the floor on her knees. She is little out of breathe with that running and eagerness to read the letter.. She hugs the letter to herself... While hugging the letter of Maan she as if already feels his presence behind her... and then with tears in her eyes she slowly opens the envelop and slides the letter from the envelope and let the envelope slide from her fingers over her shoulder.. and she feels as if Maan is slowly approaching her from behind...
The moment she hug the letter she felt him in her being... She felt that he is right there with her as if he never was away from her at all..
She delicately unfolds the letter Maan is already standing over her shoulder. Her anxious eyes are looking around to see if he is really there... She opens the letter her tearful glance falls on the letter and her eyes scans the words... She feels as if Maan slowly has come behind her and has sat behind her. She feels as if he sat beside her and delicately slides her hair behind her ear and as if he is reading it for her. Geet is seated rooted on the spot holding the letter in her hands... Her eyes are looking at the letter and her heart feels as if Maan himself came and sat next to her and he is reading the letter for her as if the her lips forms the words but his lips give voice to the words in her ears.. As if she hears him say the words so delicately and so softly directly in her ear that no one can listen except her.. She was as if mesmerized by each word of the letter and it touches her so deeply to the core of her being... she feels him say it to her...
Maan is very close to her and comes right behind her his eyes as if not missing a single flicker in Geet's eyes and his lips so close as if would not miss a single breathe from her lips.. as if she is reading it but lips of Maan gives a voice to her words...he keeps his gaze on her as if not to miss a delicate vibration from her lips so that he can say the same words
Maan reads for her...
Maan slowly approaches the bench behind her and reads for her...
Geet my eyes only see you in all the beautiful things of the world. She feels as if Maan came near her and slide on the bench and sit with her. She could imagine how he woud say this words to her as if ... his left palm delicately cupped her face and tenderly turned her face toward him... Geet has little teary smile with that tender most touch. Maan looks in to her eyes and says in every topic... every time I only feel you. If I ask the moon about the moonlight then he only mentions you. Geet looks at him as if his so tender talk reaches her heart... She as if leans her cheek in his palm. her eyes overflows without a word she is basking in the love Maan is pouring down on her. Maan looks in to her eyes and says and if I ask the flower about its fragrance then also your fragrance fills my heart...
Part 2:
Maan is still cupping her cheek tenderly as if he does not want her to look anywhere else but in his eyes so that she can feel the ache of his heart and the ocean of love in his heart... still looking in to her eyes pleading very softly he says... Once again Geet please fill my life with the fragrance of your breathe. As if they both keep looking at each other. After a while Maan softly slides his palm from her face and turns his back siddeways to lie down keeping his head on her lap. He softly rest his head on her lap and looks up to see her face.. he holds one of her hand and brings it down to hold it near his heart. He completely covers her hand with his and as if reads on... He says I feel like hiding you from the sun and the moon and the flowers and lock you in my heart and love you to my heart's desire. Teary eyed Geet is looking down at him as if his soft words and his unfathomable love are reaching her inner heart... She has teary tender smile hearing the longing in his words... Her heart as if blossoms by his tender touch and loving ways... Maan keeps on looking at her tenderly and her eyes are flooding with love and longing too... but the tears takes the smile away... Maan as if feels the tears falling on his cheek.. He touches that single tear drop with the tip of his finger and gets up and sits and looks at her tear stained face. His heart as if is churning looking at her tears.. He so softly wipes her tears with his thumb and cups her face and slowly turns her face to him.. He says softly Geet every time I see the tears in your eyes I feel like my heart is being broken in hundred pieces and is being drifted away in your tears. Watching him, Geet as if feels his pain. She slowly gets up from the bench taking the letter away with her... Maan as if tries to hold on to her hand but she slides away...
Down stairs Pammi is walking in the corridor calling for Geet. She has a new tailored dress for her which she wants Geet to try on... She enters her room calling for her but does not find Geet there. She returns murmuring where is Geet? Nandini comes out of her room asking what happen Bhabhi? Why are you shouting Geetdi's name. Pammi tells her that she could not find Geet in her room and she wants her to try on the dress.
Nandini tells her not to worry as Geet could not go anywhere from here she should be around the house and she will help her to locate her. So they both now go downstairs in search of Geet.
Geet is walking upstairs reading the letter.
Maan comes behind her and walks with her stepping backward but facing Geet. Geet looks at him and he reads on for her. There is a white dove on his shoulder (sallu ban gaya Maan... )
He says Geet If I would have known that one day your hand would be beyond my reach then I would not have let go of your hand even for a moment. Geet stares at him with her heart in her eyes... Maan says but who knew what our fate had in store for us and you would drift away from me... Maan stops there and Geet moves forward but the letter from her hand also drifts in the air and Geet realizes that. she runs to catch that letter and as if finds it at the feet of her Maan. (I totally loved this symbolism... as though letter drifted away like as she did not hold it tightly but the letter landed at the feet of her Maan and so she would find her solace only with her Maan) She picks up the letter and looks up to see Maan's adoring eyes were looking at her. Slowly she gets up holding the letter. Her gaze shifts to Maan's face whose penetrating gaze never left her eyes.
Part 3:
Maan tenderly caresses her hair away from her face and tucks it behind her ear and softly stroks the length over her shoulder. They both continue to look at each other.. As if their eyes speak volumes of love and tenderness to each other and they keep on reading and drinking from each other's eyes and never get satisfied.. As if Maan is trying to find that flicker of love and tenderness in her eyes which he longs for and as if Geet is trying to find that trust and solidness in his eyes which she desires... Maan holds her shoulders with his hands and propels her to walk with him keeping her close to his side encircling her shoulder with one arm.. Geet is looking at him as if waiting for him to read on... Maan starts walking softly with her saying tenderly... Geet If my heart had even a little notion that it would not be able to see your face even for a single moment then I would have enveloped you in my arms and embraced you and would have lived my whole life keeping you in my arms saying he pulls Geet in his arms and envelops in his embrace. Geet also hugs him back and rests her head on his shoulder with a sigh.. Maan says tenderly and I would have breath in so softly that even for a fraction of second my breath would not separate you from me. Geet opens her eyes with that declaration but stays in his arms.. Slowly Maan opens his arms and Geet lifts her head and looks at him. She as if turns in his arms. Maan softly slides her hair from her ears and brings his lips very close to the side of her face. He as if kisses her ear. Geet shudders a little with that sensation. Maan holds her back to rest her back on his chest and bending little nuzzles her cheek. Keeping his face very close to her face he looks at her closed eyes.. He continues softly... He says If I would have even a little indication even in my dreams that I would not be able to see this face any time... I wouldn't have allowed my eyes to even blink once and would have not allowed my sleep to enter my eyes and would have kept you in front of my eyes whole my life. His poetic words spoken with so much conviction are stirring the raw emotions in her heart beyond her control. She just could not read any further.. She is disturbed beyond herself.. Restless she moves away from those emotions but as if Maan would not let her go... He holds her dupatta while she tries to move away.. She turns to look at his intense eyes and just cannot look away. Maan still looking steadily at her keeps folding her dupatta with his hands and steps closer with each fold saying my love... my life... my happiness... and he is right behind her. Geet turns to look at his eyes.. Maan keeps on looking at her and adds and my existence is all because of you. Geet just could not hold her love any longer... She turns completely to him and softly slides her arms on his arms and on his shoulder. Maan looks in to her eyes and says you are the reason for my existence. Geet is nothing without her Maan and Maan is nothing without his Geet. Geet looks at him with teary smile as if her resistance has crumpled down in a heap. Maan is holding her and says softly... Geet I have only one desire and that is to have you back in my life. And if that does not happen then this Maan would not be able to live any longer. Geet is now crying and tears are rolling from her eyes. She keeps on looking at Maan still holding his shoulder. Maan pleads her with the final words.. Geet please give me my paradise back. Please give me my Mishti back. Maan keeps on pleading with his eyes and Geet keeps on melting with that tender longing look... Suddenly as if she closes her eyes after reading that heart wrenching plea and his name comes on her lips... She realizes that she is still standing near the fountain with Maan's letter in her hand. Her anxious eyes scan the area looking for him but he was not there with her. She feels the void at his absence..
Once again she looks at the letter to read...
Maan comes behind her with the determination on his face saying Geet I will wait for you my whole life but I will not return home without you.. every moment... every place... every time I will wait for you. Geet is restless... Maan continues saying... Not from today but at this very moment I am dedicating my life in waiting for you. Then he says softly Geet I am waiting for you in the quarters behind the house and my waiting either will end with my life or with your arrival. Geet just could not bear even the thought of the end of Maan's life she is too anxious and very restless. Maan gives her the departing line saying.. Now the decision is in your hands.. Yours only Maan..
Part 4:
As if the words were not out of Maan's mouth and Geet's heart is in her hand.. She looks around worried and anxious.. She does not lose a single moment and runs with all her might...
Beeji and TV are talking... Beeji tells TV that as he is going to the city he should ask Paami if she needs anything from the market. Suddenly they hear Pammi and Nandini calling for Geet. Both of them get little worried. Pammi and Nadini walks in asking about Geet. Beeji says no I have not seen her since morning. TV asks what happen. Beeji asks her to look in to her room. But Pammi says she is neither in her room nor anywhere in the house. Nandini also adds that she is not even in the kitchen and we both are calling her since long if she is in the house she would have answered us... TV and Beeji get worried mumbling so where did she go. Lucky enters asking what happen they said geet is no where to be seen... he laughs and says this is funny every one is playing hide and sick yesterday Balwant gone missing and today Geetdid... Nobody pays any attention and beeji scolds him and shuts him up... TV gets worried saying she must have gone somewhere due to that MSK. Then he totally gets worried thinking if Geet did some harm to herself..
Geet is running through the house with tears running her eyes and the letter in her hand. She is looking around anxiously to see if Maan is anywhere to be seen but she does not see him.. With her fluttering heart she scans the area one more time and then at last her eyes fall on a form standing in the darkness. She sees the silhouette and knows it is Maan. She softly speaks his name... Maan... Maan slowly turns and steps in the light with a tender smile as if he knew that his Geet would not be able to stay away from him. Geet sees him and she comes flying and throws herself in his arms almost jumping at his neck. Maan balances himself and lifts her holding tightly on the waist and swirls her around. They both cling to each other as if never would break apart with the tears running from their eyes.. Both were hugging each other and crying so much... As if their pain and their anguish and their misunderstanding and their hurt washed away in that tremendous flow of tears and love...
Finally Geet opens her arm's lock at Maan's neck and steps back a little to look in to his teary face with a tender smile still enveloped in Maans arms
As if this episode has broken all the records of letter narrating and reconciliations...
I loved the way it was shown that though Geet is reading the letter but she feels his presence and his voice narrating the letter. The moment she hugged the letter she felt his presence in her being and her mind conjured the picture as if those words Maan is directly telling her and how would he tell her and how would he slide her hair away from her face and how would he lay his head in her lap and and how could he hug her and and how would he encircle his arm around her shoulder and walk with her and how delicately he would wipe her tears and tell her that he simply cannot see her tears he dies thousand death when he even sees her eyes moist...
And my hats off to the performance of Drashti and Gurmeet.. Not a word from Drashti and her eyes and her facial expressions and her body language spoke the volumes... Gurmeet was absolutely amazing with his modulation of speech with exact amount of longing and pleading and at last a soft ultimatum of love... Gosh his modulation of speech was totally amazing just touches the core of your heart...
My heartfelt thank you to the entire team of Geet for working so hard to create the magic of Maaneet.. Thank you all for working nonstop behind and before the camera...
